Special Projects and Master Lists

This forum is for checking in on the progress of large, multi-day projects like a thesis or catching up on tax returns. It's also a good place for master to-do lists, gratitute lists, New Year's resolutions, and other non-daily items.

Gwen D's Spring Gleaning

As of January 23, I have made good forays in the three weeks back at work. My house is a DISASTER AREA. I know it's because I have sort of been injured or sick since October, so I refuse to let myself get mad at me. (Believe me, that strategy is NEW NEW NEW. Usually I get stuck in a loop of blame for way too long. Not going there.)

Long term look::

Ian's boilerplate "daily renewal"

Tinkering, as always, in hopes of improving the ability of routines and habits to support living in recovery. Instead of posting this in my daily to-do lists, I thought I'd post it here, where I can touch base with it every day and continue to tweak it as my understanding grows. And then I can make "run through daily renewal" an item on my daily to-do list.

Hope this helps someone else, too!

katia "at some point" thread

Need a place to put tasks when I think of them. Conceivably, I would add them to check-ins. Just so I don't forget even if the task isn't a "right away" thing. It makes sense to me lol.

Kind of like virtual post-its.

This is an experiment.

Prometheus' list

2011 is nearly upon us, and I’m hoping to make progress in the areas of my life where procrastination has held me back in years gone by… I’ve split them into things I need to do every day, and other things like freelance writing and my university thesis (I’m finishing a masters in poverty and development), that I won’t be working on every day, but I need to give a certain amount of time to each week….

Gratitude Marathon

As I "keep keeping on" today, I have come accross all kinds of phone marathons for the holidays.

To everyone in the PA - lets form teams and compete

Hi members of the PA,

I am one of you and similar to you, looking to remove the mess in my life. I came here and just like everyone else started looking for work buddies and posting in forums and all that...

Then just as I was reading a post by a new comer requesting here for a work buddy , I had this wave. Why don't we form  team of work buddies and compete with each other ? Each team can consist of 3 work buddies, we have a name for our team, we set goals and start working on it. We have a healthy competition with other teams.

Katelyn-Anne`s Master To-Do List

Because I have been procrastinating for so long, I have SO many things I need to catch up on, little things and big things. So this is where I'm going to put all the big things I need to get done, and all the little things that can wait awhile longer, and I'll do a few things from this list a week.

hidden_motives' progress report

August 30th,

My first report. This thread will be more for my own personal use, for me to check on my progress and identify weak points in my strategy than it will be for anything else. However everyone is invited to post words of advice or encouragement.

I am currently feeling down. I'm doing more than I do when I have a game to play, one that I don't feel like deleting, but I still don't know if I can manage myself well enough.
