Hi to all procrastinators on this site,
I'm new here and am located in Sydney Australa. I hoped to come to a meeting but all the meetings seem to be during my sleep times. Any suggestions about that? Sleep is one of those things I don't procrastinate on.
Also I'm wondering how the 12 steps work in a program that is not substance based but rather behavior based like procrastinating. I don't see much discussion of the 12 steps so far but I'm an older person and tecnologically challenged so I may have missed something.
I can identify with others' procrastinating behavior so I know I'm in the right place. The tips and books you offer are helpful and I have used them all in the past- with limited success.
I think what I would like from this group is a hope of recovery from this debilitating disease. What knd of recovery from procrastination behavior does this program envisage?
I would be grateful for any responses. I am already grateful for the service that pro and others are putting into this site and this program. I am hoping to give back.
I am new and having a hard time maneuvering this website and finding others to interact with. I am also kind of older. Just curious if you were able to find help and recovery here. It's been a year since you posted.
I've been trying to attend the meetings on Wednesday and Saturdays. I sent a couple or maybe even a few emails. It's been a few years but I've attended these meetings before. I hope someome sees this and replies.
I'd love to attend some meetings and soon as I'm currently temporarily laid off and I'd love to capitalize on my time.
