I set my alarm earlier this morning and forced myself out of the house.

-Drank water with probiotic

-Went for 25-min. walk

-Canceled dr. appt for today

-Canceled ent for fri but kept the one on mon

-Made breakfast shake

I have a sense of urgency, at last, it's Monday, I'm going to go to the library, and not allow myself to get distracted. No computer, no smartphone, just me and a notepad. And glasses. Reading relevant material. Absorbing things. Does that sound a bit lame? I hope not. I think I need to be kind to myself and give myself encouragement, so this is intended to be a gentle-ish start to the process. I have to research and that's undeniable, if I keep it simple by using pen and paper then chances are I'll get more actual research done. Because the internet is on the computer and much as I'd love to burst in the chatbox with fellow-P-Aers I know I'd get distracted (the dark playground) so it's blinkers on for me today. Feeling positive!!!

Feeling much better today since FINISHING the health insurance sign-up. That was rough. 

Goal today is to mix in a few nice things I would like to do, along with the yucky tasks. I need some joy in my life.

Oh dear, I feel very unfocused today, stayed up late, so now I'm getting up late, trying to write a list of my 'to-do's' but am already anticipating being behind all day and not fitting everything in.

Okay, somehow 2 weeks have gone by since last check-in ... how did that happen?

My latest avoidance: phone calls for dr. appts. and gathering info for health ins. plan.

i have to admit I am avoiding those phone calls at the end of the day.

My new approach for today:

I need to break those down in my head into one call only at a time.

i don't need to do all calls at once, just start with one and then assess if I want to do another one after that
if i can just do ONE call later, then usually it is easier to do more later
so just get contact info for ONE doctor on my plan, get out my info sheet, and then do only that ONE call
i am only going to think of it like that for today until this afternoon at around 3-3:30 when it's time to deal with it.
