Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Thy will not mine be done.
Following on from the discussion in the thread here, I though I'd offer a temporary workaround to not being able to create new threads and the unmanageabity of such a long 17th March thread, by recycling the thread from exactly on year ago to use for each daily check-in. Feel free to use whatever system works for you.
Before I start my check-in I wanted to say I called in to the 11am EST daily call today (Saturday) and I was the only person on the call. It's OK if that's the case but I just wanted to make sure I am calling the right number and doing the right things. I called the updated number (559 726 1300 and entered the access code 496261). I will try again on Monday.
I will only list the 3 MIT tasks I have to do today:
-call C (and then call R to report I did it)
-fill out 2010 forms
-spend 3 poms on writing
These tasks have been hanging over my head for days/weeks (especially the first two) and are part of what brought me to this sight. So let's hope I can check in later today and report success.
Hmmm, the site is saying my message posted at 12:11pm, when in fact the clock here says 11:11am EST. I am now thinking that I called in to the daily call an hour late (because of the fall time change). Perhaps the call is now at 10am EST ?
Yes there is an 11:00am phone meeting Mon-Sat
and it happens at whatever time it is in New York.
(11am EST winters and 11am EDT summers).
The Saturday meeting is more sparsely attended than the Mon-Fri meeting, so maybe you just found a day when nobody came ... or ... perhaps people arrived very late.

Slept last night for nearly twelve hours and I did not know I was so tired. Today indecision as to what to do. I have a plan of keeping weekends free of work but I have some work that I want to finish and it is irritating me. So...
Todo Today
Up prayer and reflection
Check emails and posts - friend has received birthday card late (posted in very good time by me) and is still delighted with present
Make list for today and post it - curiously difficult as I don't know what I want or need to do.
Wash up and tidy in kitchen
Deal with post when/if it comes
Sort a little info for church tomorrow
Plan next week - my weeks start on Sunday
and then what? rest relax write waste time???????????

thank you, movingalong! I will try again on Monday.
I am commenting to report that I did the first task on my list, call C, and a great weight has been lifted. It feels good!
I am now going to walk the dog, and then tackle my other two MITs.
I don't know how to edit my own messages, or else I would strike through my tasks on my original message.
Best anti-procrastination wishes to all who need them! We are in this together.
@ minerrvas
Welcome! Wishing you all the best on your journey.
