HAPPY SUNDAY, EVERYBODY
Promise Three of PA:As we learn to commit each task to our Higher Power for divine ideas and guidance, confidence will replace fear, enthusiasm will replace dread and self esteem will replace self loathing; we will take the next right action, as they are required easily and effortlessly.

+word serenity and we will know peace. No matter how far down the scale
we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others. That
feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear. We will lose
interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows.
Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and outlook upon life
will change. Fear of people and of economic insecurity will leave us. We
will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us.
We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do
for ourselves. Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They
are being fulfilled among us — sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They
will always materialize if we work for them. This thought brings
us to Step Ten, which suggests we continue to take personal inventory
and continue to set right any new mistakes as we go along. We vigorously
commenced this way of living as we cleaned up the past. We have entered
the world of the Spirit. Our next function is to grow in understanding
and effectiveness. This is not an overnight matter. It should continue
for our lifetime. Continue to watch for selfishness, dishonesty,
resentment, and fear. When these crop up, we ask God at once to remove
them. We discuss them with someone immediately and make amends quickly
if we have harmed anyone. Then we resolutely turn our thoughts to
someone we can help. Love and tolerance of others is our code. And we have ceased fighting anything or anyone- "

I like this promise.
My only confidence is in the Lord coming to my rescue, again and again, not in myself.
the term "self esteem" doesnt fit with my christianity. I am valuable because God loves me. that's more than plenty, Infinte God has chosen to love me.
Abstinence from unplanned time.
Abstinence from relying on self. AA Big Book says to rely on God. Quoted in my bookmarks : scroll down to "AA Big Book on fears : relying on God not self-reliance:"

that i stayed on plan pretty much all day, and accomplished much.
that i was flexible, and used small blocks of time.
my off-plan bender could have been worse.

Thank you dear lennon for a lovely smiley starter.
Felt flat yesterday and didn,t check in last night. Hot and muggy, heavy, very windy.
today the sun is out and it has cooled down - still wind but it is autumn and to be expected.
So far I have rung and socialised with band and been to the market for vegetables.
i am finding it hard without my diary.
this afternoon I want to email D, plant winter crop, tidy, put clothes away and veggies away.
