Starting thoughts: Must finish task that's been hanging over my head since before the holidays.

Goals:

-- Write memories about J/L for memorial DONE
-- Map out DSPD strategy

Ending thoughts: The fact that a task "must" be done in no way ensures that I will do it. Will try to reframe task components tomorrow and take away the sense of urgency.

11:17am : it's been 1 min since i last went off plan. i was zoning out just now. But before that i woke up and was chatting with my wife about plans and got a phone call. Then i was on plan then i came here and zoned out. Not sure why. New beginning. Thank you god for infinite new beginnings.

5:34pm : it's been 1hr 34min since i last went off plan. I was off plan before my appt, brainstorming something not necessary, and not in a scheduled, designated break. I am going to count the external structure imposed on my time by the appointment, because that's like not having alcohol in the house, and i think i am feeling withdrawal from it, even tho i did not have to choose it.

7:44pm : it's been 1 min since i last went off plan. I went on a 2hr surfing bender. so sad. Guilt is threatening at the door. God sees a vision of me without this mistake, without bad behavior, and without this disorder. And he is calling me into it today. If i follow him, i will be led into a healthy life, as i have been so far.

7:52pm : it's been 9 min since i last went off plan.

9:18pm : it's been 2 min since i last went off plan. I was on plan til about 10 min ago, then i watched more tv than i had planned. Now i have to fend off the guilt, lest it bring me all the way down. I'm going to pray.

Wow so I was at the hospital with my mum until 2 am this morning and got to bed at 3. DH gets up early for work so I reckon I've had about 4 or 5 hours of broken sleep. Mum is doing as well as can be expected and I will go see her later today. I was meant to be doing some work with one client today, but he's not back til mon. So will try and do some for another without expecting to much.

Small list to keep me going today

 

  • Have a shower
  • Call M transport to cancel
  • Finish x-stitch for M
  • Put washing away
  • Washing up
  • Choose a few simple things for board
  • Make a board for mum
  • Do at least 3 poms on Figures. I need to do other things rather than work today
  • Have a nap if you feel you can sleep
  • Have a good lunch - plenty of leftovers
  • Leave to see mum @ 2.30
  • Collect things for Mum
  • Visit house, Collect charger

Thesis' Thursday Plan

I guess it's going to be a while before it is thursday everywhere else, so I get to start the thread today.
