CHECKING BACK IN TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR HOW MY DAY WENT. DID NOT FINISH COVER LETTER; FEELS SHITTY. REALLY WANTED TO DO THAT TODAY.

I have a master list but the most important things for today (trying to keep it to 2 bigger things and 1 small, b/c otherwise I get overwhelmed and get nothing done):

The "right thing" for me to do is make my call. Need to be humble do whatever it takes.thx

3. Went to the 9 a.m. telephone ACA meeting

Things I will do today

1. Eat breakfast

2. Wash dishes

3. Prayer and meditation morning and evening

4. Go to the 12 noon telephone ACA meeting

5. Clear tables

6. Clear floor

7. Clear bed

8. Take out garbage

9. Go to the 9 p.m. online EA meeting

10. Eat dinner

Journey 10:45

Happy Thursday!   One more day then I'm off until next Friday.   I'm a bit stressed over Christmas, just found out daughter-in-law backed out of having family party at her house, so it will be at my house!   That's ok, I have plenty of time to get ready, and she has to work all weekend and on Christmas Day so I don't mind doing it.  But still.  It's a stressor.   And I'm not feeling my best lately, hoping the doctor will have some suggestions when I hear back from my yearly physical test results.   OK, enough whining but thanks for being here so I can whine to you guys.   Or whinge for those of you in the UK and Oz. 

I went to the gym this morning, had a moderately easy workout, and I've done email/calendar and attended one meeting.   My todo list is made, so here goes.  I have a couple of straightforward tasks to begin with and this afternoon will be spent in on some newer and more difficult projects.   I will leave on time today as I have to stop by the pet store.   OK here goes.   I'll check back if I get stuck.

10:15am : it's been 1 min since i last went off plan. Very distractable this morning. Been off plan 3 times in 1/2 hr, and on plan for only about 5 min. God pls help me focus. I feel the urge to go off plan. I anticipate a struggle. But i know and trust God can get me thru it.

    • Self-care (eg wash or mend clothes, wash hair) wash hair do a hand wash
    • Something creative design e-card
    • Christmas preparation finish last-minute cards, deliver local ones

Feeling sluggish, but hopeful today. I am optimistic I can make the most of a whole day without needing to go out to visit etc. Although I am cautious as I know that sometimes long uninterrupted days go a bit wrong for me.

I supposed that if I asked higherpower for some direction, and wrote it down ...
... I might actually have some direction in my life.

Hi "Ms"!
You and Mole both started Thursday threads simultaneously -- they were dated about 5 minutes apart.  There wasn't any way either of you could have seen the other. After this was discovered, Mole changed Mole's threadstarter to say Friday.

Completely unrelated to this ... Mole and I both started Tuesday threads.  But the Tuesday duplicate was my error ...  because Mole's Tuesday had already been going for hours and I simply didn't notice.  When I discovered my error, I deleted mine and then used the same thread starter for a new Wednesday thread. That is the threadstarter with Chickadee's picture of the hands holding a young growing plant.

These things happen from time to time, and it's no big deal.
We get an opportunity to embrace nonperfectionism.
