clement ci - day 42 attempting abstinence

9:59am : it's been 1 min since i last went off plan. It is often "1 min" because i get off plan, then come here to get back on, so it's always that 1 min. so i'm not looking for big numbers. Love it if they come. But i'm looking toward the future at every moment. Here's the plan i came up with as i was falling asleep :

:) ci
:) quiet time
:) sort tasks - christmas is coming up. should i defer some work tasks and do christmas tasks?
:) do tasks

10:12am thu : i did do much more christmas tasks.

gotmusikk's Wednesday

Hello everyone :-)

Today I KNOW will be a day off-plan.  There's just too much stuff going on.  Regardless, I'd like to set the intention that I'll be kind to myself, and will check in with my higher power regularly to guide me in how to best execute my tasks.

Appointments:
9-11:30am MH
1~2-4~5pm MIL is here

5pm Rehearse
6pm Run
7:30pm Meditation class

Tasks:
-- wrap presents for BF
-- hide presents for MIL
-- dishes
-- MAIL PRESENTS TO FAMILY!
-- make bread pudding
-- clean
-- send 2 emails

End of day conclusion: for a very sleep deprived day, it was relatively productive.  I didn't get stuck in procrastination.  Doing dishes always provokes resistance, but I overcame it in about 10 minutes.  Now I just wish that I could stop judging myself so harshly and making myself feel like crap.  All in good time, I guess.  Just gotta keep believing that it's possible.

Journey 7:30

Good morning . . .working at home today.   I feel sore and achy from the pneumonia vaccine I got yesterday so I'm skipping exercise this morning.   I will go to the gym in the morning and do some gentle cardio.   I've had a nice healthy breakfast and I'm going to get dressed in work-from-home clothes, check email and calendar, and make todo list for the day.

I'll be back soon.

Thank you Movingalong for the lovely choice of thread-starter. Just to know that we have it within us to make the change is enough some days.

Feeling quite anxious about today. I am leaving after lunch to see my mum so not a lot of hours to work with and feeling (especially) guilty about several things on the list to do. But something is 100% than nothing.

Today I have already:

  • Put some washing on
  • Had a shower
  • Eaten breakfast
  • Text my mum
  • Made a list
Today I will:
  • Do at 5-6 poms of work for F done 4/6
  • Order TV riser
  • Do invicing and email out
  • Plan calendar
  • Wash up
  • Unload DW
  • Shine my sink!
  • Text J abt cable
  • Post cards
  • Wash sheets
  • Eat lunch
  • Leave to see mum at 1.30 more like 2 :-s
I hope to be home by 5 and do a bit more before M gets home. I am continuing to treat myself with kindness and compassion and maintain that I am doing the best that I can.

Edit @ 13:15 am running late to have lunch but managed to get a couple of things done that I was worried about, as well as some paid work, so hopefully can continue the good work.
