clement ci - day 15 attempting abstinence

11:57 pm wed night : Hi, i'm clement and it's been 4 min since i last went off plan. I'm posting tonight for tmrw's plan:

:) R
:) quiet time
:) microburst cov let
:) 1:30pm leave

it's incredible the topic for this day, cuz that's eactly what i was experiencing--new beginnings--in my post this night on wed thread. Nice coincidence. Probably God did that.

11:27 am : It's been about 30min since i last went off plan. And i was off plan for not even 1 min. But regardless, i have a new beginning. Time for quiet time.

11:46 pm :

For god has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all. Oh the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements and how inscrutable his ways.

For who has known the mind of the lord,
or who has been his counselor?
Or who has given a gift to him
that he might be repaid?

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

The above verse is quiet similar to steps 1 2 & 3. It says that this is the way God wants it, failing humans who must depend on him. He wants to give us mercy, rather than us not needing it in the first place. Which confirms what i feel i have been learning, that this addiction is part of God's plan to call me to himself.

Thank you to Mole for the suggestion about doing one tile at a time for my kitchen floor. I assumed you were joking about breaking it down quite that far, but today I was successful in cleaning the first 1/4 of it - YIPPEE! And thank you!

Finding a way CI

I just had to check in because I related so much to the quote in today's thread - thankyou EleanorBE! Very relevant for me today.

I have been getting through my work reasonably well, but feeling a lot of stress as I am driven by the fear of 'not getting it done'. I've been finding that keeping a time log is useful as it takes away that feeling of time just disappearing. I can see what time I did 'waste' and it also keeps track of my billable hours.

Thank you all for being here! :)
