Have already taken the dogs for a nice walk along the canal and been to a meeting, now I'm going to treat myself to a movie (sudden attack of guilt: do I really have TIME to go back into town NOW and watch a film? Am I being ridiculous??). Later I'm going to a film screening/exhibition locally put on by a friend. So I could go and see this other film on Wednesday instead...

Okay, that's decided that then. Thank you P-Aers for helping me 'do the next right thing' :).

 In particular, before I go to bed, I really need to make some more progress on my lab mtg write-up. I really need to stay up and get this thing 3/4 done...if I do that, then I should have time to finish it tomorrow morning, and be able to spend most of the day prepping for baby shower and hanging out w/ bf.

So, I will burst through this, and check back every time I get through a section.

9:49 am :

I'm clement and i have an addictive personality, gratefully in recovery. It's been 2 min since i last went off plan.

Last eve and night were not abstinent. It's the longest period off plan in the previous 8 days. But i can just start now with abstinence.

It's now been 4 min since i last went off plan.

I looked at my todo list. it's overwhelming...

ok got interruption phone call that i did need to take? Is that on plan or not? God grant me wisdom to know the difference. for now i'm going to count as on plan. but the phone call interrupted me off-plan, so

12:25 pm :

got really frustrated then stuck in paralysis. I played a game for 40 min because it was all i felt like i could do. Is that like taking a drink? I dont know. Doesnt feel right but i do feel like with some distance between me and my previous emotional state i can move forward.

i will call that on-plan... at this point in my journey. So it's been 37 min i was last off plan. ...doing a burst w/ mama_cat... so go back to my frustrating to do. Lord PLEASE help me navigate this.

Checking in late today. I was doing really well today until about 7 p.m. when I crashed in front of the TV for two hours. Unfortunately, there are still a few things I need to get done before heading to bed. So I'm going to rally in five 20 minute bursts:

4. prep for tomorrow

5. read

  • Scrub kitchen floor (30 mins). It will get bigger and bigger and more embarrassing until you do it!
