clement ci - day 4 attempting abstinence

it's been 1hr since i was last off plan. Ie went to be last night off plan.

this morning is better, but god i pray for restoration.

it's been 3 min since i was last on-plan. Before that, 3h 40m off plan :(

when that happens, i prepare to receive god's help to fight the bad, debilitating guilt. He forgives me, after all.

in other news this site i thot had a good writeup on perfectionism

i went off on a bender again. A better bender, but still a bender. It's been 2 minutes since i last went off plan. And i set my face to the rest of my life to live on plan.

Rexroth Check In and Out

A late check in. I was unwell during the night and woke late

Up prayer and reflection
Dealt with emails and posts
Tidied up a bit
Dealt with phone call from friend

x Work on book
x Phone friend
x Write journal
x Prayer and reflection

Also wieghed myself which I had been avoiding, dealt with phone call from friend when I wanted to get on

Now Bed and sleep

Night Rexroth

Starting again

I keep getting derailed by illness and stress ... some days all I can do is sleep and others all I can do is frantic, obssessive displacement activities, like a zoo animal pacing up and down its cage.

Today I don't know if I'm lethargic or tired - do I need to be active or rest?

But it's beautiful weather, so I'm going out for a short walk and I'll see how that goes. If it revives me I'll come back and put together a programme for today. If it exhausts me I'll go back to bed.

Good! It invigorated me!

Before dark:

Go for longer walk
Get on with raised flower bed

After dark:

Write up and print off amended minutes
Put clothes in the wash.

Put minutes in envelope and address to LG
Take clothes out and hang up.

IN BED BY 11.00  won't make this, but won't be far off, I don't think

Well... Let's try this...

FYI, I see that Pro posted a chatbox update

For those who missed this news update,
and usually only read the "daily check-in thread" here ...
I happened to notice that Pro posted an important update.

Read Pro's NEW thread here:
If you have comments, please reply to THAT link so that Pro sees it.

Personally, I'm staying out of the topic.
I mentioning it only for awareness reasons.

It's probably best that we leave this Sunday thread you are reading right now ...
focused on Sunday check-ins.

Thank you, lennon, for starting the thread. I shall endeavour to raise my energy and enthusiasm to greet the day!

I would appreciate it if anyone who feels moved to comment on my post here would write to me privately rather than post in reply to this post - so I can still edit this post here. Thank you!
