Show up (done), cslender, exer.

In the Duet for One,he says:

Life is always worth living, he says. So what if you’ve come
to end of one
road, you must go back until you find a fork in the road and take
the other
path…and so you continue on another way….because every way is a
way of life.
How very true! Every way is a way
of life. So, let’s
today give thanks for the ways we have already come and the
lessons we’ve
learned and the people we’ve met. Then let’s use these blessings
to meditate on
the meaning of life. And, please remember: There is something
special and
sacred about any way you would have chosen. Life is special and
sacred.
Reflecting about our paths can make us more sensitive to the holy
places along
them. It can deepen our awareness of where God has been and is in
our lives.

Lavida CI Mon. 10/22

Today I am not concerning myself with time too much, because dealing with demand resistance makes the whole issue of time management a moot point for me.

I am going to do the next right thing today. It is a question of what I want out of my life, what I would like, what direction I want things to go in, and then doing one step at a time that makes sense towards that.

Every time I have tried to manage my time with a schedule, I have failed. It does not work for me.

Having a loose set of simple goals I think at least gives me a framework to work within. More like priorities, so I'll list them here:

  • Writing 6
  • Sending job applications (starts Tuesday)
  • Exercising (aerobic✔, strength✔, stretch✔) best around 3/3:30pm
  • Meals B✔ L✔  D  / water ✔✔ (supplements✔✔, Rx)
  • Bible ✔
  • Recovery (✔ UA meeting, ✔ goals pages)

Small tasks (do not put emphasis on these, just take a small amount of time to get them done, and that's it):

-call friend in hospital

-do skin✔ /shower✔ /teeth

this week:

-mani/pedi

-call local PO about key/forwarding

-return keys to stores

-home test

-call/pay loan

-check Priceline.com

-cancel subscrip.

-inquire rates new car insurance/lower current ins.

-inquire letter for sec.

Mole's check-in

Thank you Eleanor, for the delicious quote. I love the idea of time being ripe - ready to drop lusciously into one's lap instead of always being too spare, too small...

I've been sick these last few days and very wary of the grey area between 'legitimate' convalescing and procrocrastination.

But so far - sketched out new scene 9-12.30, lunch, then hour's rest, checked out water rates, coach timetable and medical benefits, responded to A ( instead of giving in to Demand Resistence).

now it is 4 and I would love to sit down with a pot of tea - but also in the next two hours available want (yes WANT - there are parts of me that are not quite listening) to spend half an hour decluttering  and spend another half hour on blue line learning, and make and eat something simple.

6.15 walk to town

6.45-7.15 pre practice with JC&D

7.15-9 main practice

9 social or home

11 bed

Calypso's check-in

Good morning all!

Today I will stay in service of my hp while I work. I am going to remind myself of right motivation for doing this work and aim to maintain an empowering context. Writing little bits one piece at a time today will do it for me, now I will do 1 hr of focusing on the findings section. I admit that I got stuck yesterday, I think it was because I made my goal too big and this made it too difficult to even start. I did make progress, I coded interviews, and found a lot of good articles, and was in communication with supervisor, and learned how to write the various sections. However I did not rtie the whole findings section, which was my goal, which is too big for me to have as a goal for 1 day. So today I stay focused on small tasks, many small pieces make a whole. Thanks for being here.
