watched nfl redzone today. Talk about addicting! there's no commercials. But that was the plan. Plus i did stop and do some errands that worked out.

BUT more importantly i came here to thank God for an awesome 12 step meeting tonight. Very helpful to me.

Personal goal: to not reveal so much about my own personal struggles, in the interest of keeping codependents from feeling the need to control and manipulate me. I do not have to be an open book all the time. Short and sweet. "To thine own self be true" ... I am capable of resolving my procrastination issues through myself and my Higher Power alone, and I have no interest in attracting any individual who seeks to gain power/security/focus-on-others-instead-of-self through over-helping, over-advice-giving, rescuing compulsions or controlling me in any way. Thank you God for being my only necessary source, and for helping me to be in fellowship, not sucked into others' unconscious manipulation and judgment. Only God and I know how much "progress" I have made, and I am very, very proud of myself and I know God is proud of me for still standing and moving forward despite what I've faced.

I quit FB a couple of years ago and it has helped SO much. It never brought joy, healing, self-awareness, greater peace, helped with goals--it was just a black hole for the mind.

thanks for your imput!

that's good to hear, now i've got to make sure i don't sneak on to it. i've been thinking of deleting it but i'd rather be able to control my time on it as it is very useful for some things. music/art 

 it can leave me feeling negative though for lot's of reason's

it's just banned for today at the moment!

Then

  • Wash sheets - take out, put around to dry
  • Dust downstairs (10 minutes)
  • Clean kitchen surfaces (one at a time) (1 hour)
  • Sweep kitchen (5 minutes)
  • Scrub kitchen floor (1 hour - break it down - listen to ELO!)
