Hi Everyone!
I had so many plans for today. So many ideas, inspirations and so on...but, instead of doing them I thought about them. I thought about them and thought about them so much that I gave myself a horrible headache. So, I am here to force myself to do them, regardless of this headace. I guess I will make a priority list and then commit to at least 4 hours of productive living today. If I can be productive for 4 hours with this headache, than I will be happy. No, I won't renovate my life as I had planned, but I think I was dreaming a little big to start with. Just cleaning the toilet will be huge:)- not that it is that awful, it just needs to be done. So anyway, I guess I ought to get moving. I will use the chat room, since that always helps. Here's to productive living!!
5:15 I have finished 1.25 hrs of productive living. Headache is almost gone and I now have a clean kitchen. I need to keep moving. Thank you PA!
7:15- finished another 1.25 for a total of 2.5 productive hrs.
Not sure how much more i will do today, but I am really glad that I got through some of my work.

The following is movingalong's adaptation of a prayer to St. Joseph:
May I obtain the grace to work in an appropriate spirit of balanced humility and not humiliation;
to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my inclinations;
to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from Higher Power;
to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, without ever recoiling before weariness or difficulties;
to work, above all, with purity of intention, and with detachment from self.
Amen

Beautiful moving & clement.
Absolutely beautiful prayer, used it this night to help me get through my work.
Thanks go out to the both of you.

Thank you, O Mole, for starting the thread for us with such a thought-provoking quotation!
I'd prefer people not to offer comments here so that I can continue to edit the day as I go through my list. But if anyone has constructive feedback or encouragement to offer, please feel free to get in touch by private message.

EleanorBE's Saturday List
Hm, accidentally wrote two lists. Getting a bit too keen. Have deleted this one.
er...
...didn't get much of the list done. Worked hard at L Chapter but it's still not quite finished. Not far off though. Everything else involved being able to open and send things from work email. And our work email's down. Checked it with a colleague on Facebook so it's not just me. I can tell what a change I've made since coming here as I have actually been quite frustrated at not being able to get everything done - whereas before it would have been 'yay! Work email's down, great excuse not to do anything!'
