EleanorBE's Sunday list
I love having written; I even quite like writing a lot of the time. I just hate thinking about writing. So why do I do that instead of getting on with it??
Well, am doing some today. Here's my list, now the day's not far off ending - but there's a thing I need to write down or I won't do it.
Didn't check in yesterday as I just needed to go somewhere and see something, partly for work, partily for pleasure - which I did.
Write up AandC on train back from M'sGo through L chapter and find where to add above
Add above
Do what adjustments to L chapter I can
Write to C and assure him missing ref is comingEmail P about missing ref.

OK. Been doing a kind of productive procrastinating all morning, getting office organized etc, which is cool. But what I'm really avoiding is my commitment to myself to spend 15 minutes emptying my physical inbox. I have an active day involving showing up for others, so that's kind of taken care of...My one goal of the day is to do this 15 minutes. OK. Starting now.
Real substantial trust will come from real substantial doings.

Checking in because I need PA as my HP if you will. I am recovering and I need to face my tasks little by little. At the end of the day I will make a status of what I got done and what I didn't. Hopefully mostly the first one:) Have a productive day.
Evening edit: today went poorly. Procrastination took over, and I only got to practice a little and write a few mails. Any thing else on my list, I didn't get done. Will try with some self-talk and prayer tonight, and try again tomorrow.

Mole's check-in
Good morning everyone
A late (noon) check-in after a satisfying structured morning - cafe, market, ,ringing, post R socialising, present for Sch.
Now I need to take myself in hand after yesterday's singular failure to guilt party. I sat here, with crosswords etc, with about two thirds of my brain taken up up with the guilt I was experiencing for not joining the guilt party.
Today is going to be a planning day. I shall go from room to room with a clip board like a house agent and make lists of things to do and the outcomes I would like. Then I shall break them down into different sized chunks, so that I have 5 minute lists, 10 minute lists etc, because it is always an overwhelming whole that stops me. And I think I will try some pomodoro with non-writing tasks too. I might also timetable myself to dedicate certain chunks of time to one or other area of my life: admin, housework, etc. AND I need to print this out - not just post it off to PA and forget about it!
12.30 healthy lunch
1.30 wash up
2 note to A et al to cancel Tues appts.
Find bus times for Tues and contact B
2.30 clipboard
- 2.45 Bedroom
- 3 Middle room
- 3.15 Back room
- 3.30 bathroom and loo
- 3.45 kitchen
- 4 living room
Tea break
4.30 skirt round rooms again
5-6 Walk
6-7 breakdown list into job sizes, and categories
Eat well
Allocate a time to do the same thing with admin type tasks and garden. And also make a fixed time each week for planning.
CC plan and review (if this is too much now do it early tomorrow afternoon.
8 relax
9.30 run bath
Start thread (unless someone else is inspired!)
Be in bed by 11.

Mole -- Love the quote! Thanks for kicking things off on a good note.
Please send private message (tips, encouragement, finger wagging, et al) rather than commenting on this thread. I may want to update this post yet again. Thanks!
1) Give cat medication
4) Work through DR test set (7 tests) using 45-min. pomodoros, 15-min. breaks2) Do "escape characters" test setup; upgrade database
3) Test "escape characers" fix
Pomodoros/tests completed: 2/3
5) Deal with cat litter situation6) Meditation session (at least three minutes)
Lesson learned: Don't set pomodoro-related goals (at this point). Start with microbursts and advance from there.

PA Weekly Meeting online - don't miss it!You know what?! It's the weekend. I'm on strike! I don't want to do any more work. OK, I get it that the tasks remain to be done and I'll do them tomorrow or the next day. The real deadlines I commit to meeting, so I shall do the admin for the form-filling. And I shall attend the PA online meeting.
