I've felt justified in slacking for the past week - last weekend I was officially 'on holiday' and though I got some unpacking and stuff done on Monday, ever since then I've been laid flat with a heavy cold, and resting has been the main job.

However, though I'm still a bit wobbly, now I'm going to get back into good habits and today I will:

 

  • read the electricity meter
  • buy and post a card for J
  • take clothes to charity shop
  • clear up remains of hat-making splurge 
  • get food in
  • run the dishwasher
  • wash hair
If energy permits I will also do some of the following:
  • assemble hat boxes and put some hats away
  • tidy up papers on and overflowing from tables 
  • start on making Chinese outfit

1) Brisk half-hour walk to clear my mind
<Lost 30 minutes to chitchat and search for how to use PM feature; found the answer, though.>
2) Test 5 defects
3) Drive to friend's house
4) Test 3 defects
5) Short meditation session (three minutes or more)
6) Celebrate any and all progress!

Fell short on #4, but still a good start (unfortunately, at the steep price of staying up all night). Cat at friend's house has been super loving and cuddly throughout the night. Cat snuggle time definitely counts as celebration.

I want to thank my Higher Power for this program, this website, the telephone and online meetings, and my life.

I want to thank movingalong for starting this trend.
