Finding a way check in

Monday 10.15 am

Thanks for starting us, lennon.

Have made my lists for the week. Lots of distractions with both my sons staying here, and the girlfriend of one of them due today as well. Still, great to have time with them.

Also have made time to talk with my husband over something that was bothering him.

Will do a few small jobs, then go for my bike ride.

Thank you everyone for this site! Smile

A good morning--church, deacon mtg, went to see someone about apt.

I'm a little preoccupied now with moving, which makes this afternoon/evening hard--I need to focus on OTHER STUFF.

In particular, EA's project. She's trying to get a paper out (which is good for me, because if I do good work my name will be on it, but also means that I'm working on deadline, which I haven't had to do in a long time!). I need to break this down to be able to get it done in a timely fashion.
Goals for today on this project are:
*Compare top gene to sorted data
*Compare top genes to timecourse (GC specific and all)
*Compare top genes to P6
*Get a list of meiosis genes
*Check which ones show up on arrays

I also need to do some self-care things: groceries/cooking, and financial stuff.

OK, working on EA's project now.

Thanks lennon for starting!!!

Hi All,

When I think of recovery in this program, I think of the old me who used to do things all in a row quickly, efficiently, never taking breaks, etc. I called myself a doing machine. I now admit that I don't know how recovery in this program looks and I'm glad for this realization. Want to stop beating myself up for not being the "me" of the past.
