I am actually working right now, going over plans for tonights install with my coworker. I'm waiting for him to fix some stuff so I figured I'd check in right quick.
I had to get up and get going this morning so that I could take the dog to the groomer at 9:30, so I'm running a bit ahead of my usual Saturday schedule. I'm working tonight, and doing some stuff I have never done before, which is why my co-worker is reviewing and doing pre-install stuff with me now. good thing, because we caught an error. Once we do this part, it's pretty much guaranteed that it will go smoothly tonight, although of course you never know what might happen when you reboot!
I've been for a jog, took the doggie to groomer, visited Mom, had a nice side trip to Radio Shack (I love that place!) and then to the grocery store. I still have groceries to put away, and then I'll do a bit of laundry and some minor straightening, then dinner/dishes and rest for an hour before work begins at 9 pm. I should be done by 2am or so.

Why do I think my weekend life should only consist of cleaning my house or working on work work? Then I actually avoid doing those things in a committed way. I think I am conflicted about my priorities. I tend not to value things that consist of caring for myself in ways that will prevent trouble in the week ahead, so instead I always end up playing-- then playing catch up.
Missed tai chi this morning, could I still ride the bike there, meet them, then go to the market?
Doing laundry would probably be good.
It's a good morning for coding at my desk.
OKAY.
Get dressed and sorted (to shoes!), go get coffee and something to eat, return to clean dishes then set yourself down at desk with computer before 11:30.
Then try to solve that directory problem by looking at how far you got last week and identifying what your block is now. Is it that you don't know how a drop down menu is constructed? Are you unclear on why it was specced?
Come back here and name your next step. What is the problem?
I need to get going on MK expts:
*Collect
*Email *cf
*check on expts
I have a lot of personal stuff to take care on:
*deacons call/text
*re-send apt. email
*financial stuff
*Prayer
*Exercise
*Book flight
*lunch with friend
Finally, I want to: start. dig.
Check microscope (& email Shir. about it)
Write up notes/make a step-by-step plan for EA's project.(didn't finish this, but made some progress at least)
That's a lot. If I don't quite get through it all, that's fine, I'll just do the best I can.
I feel down this morning I am aware of how much time I waste looking at various travel and other sites on the web. Some is useful most is not and I have other things to do in my life. Also I am not doing other things that I could/should/want to do and instead say to myself I am getting ready to go away. I am getting ready to go away but I have plenty more time to do other things.
Done:
Woke prayer and reflection
Checked emails
Todo:
Get up and go out for exercise walk
Tidy up kitchen
Tidy up bedsit
Bath and wash hair
Sort out finances - including money for abroad
Deal with mail when/if it comes
Plan camping things to buy tomorrow so I have all the information
Look at and at least plan admin
Done:
Above but I have more to do on money and bank has sent me the wrong card
Talked with friend on phone who sent me an email and now can get the admin I am doing for him finished
Spoke with other friend on phone
Vic 7/10/11
Showing up and suiting up (done)
Thanks for being here.
And the winner is...
Love it - the pic tells the whole story!
Lol!
Have a great productive day, Rosebud and gang!
