Gwen D CI: Sunday 12:36 PM

Hi Dear PA'rs.

I have a date this afternoon with a new friend beginning at 4, and I've stated to the world and anyone who would listen that I need to clean up my room and do some housekeeping.

So. This means that after this leisurely morning of coffee, visiting and listening to music, I have three hours flat out to do some of the following.

put away clean clothes and bring them up to par (they've been laying around collecting cat hair for two weeks because it's been so busy)

clear away clutter and handle piles and caches of incoming paper and business that have been accumulating

dust or wash surfaces like furniture and counters... nothing is disastrous, but it's all just messy.

really clean the refrigerator and kitchen floors...

I know I'd feel so much better if the bedroom floor was clear, the bathroom shelf was decluttered, the hallway chair was empty, the bin with paper and mail was sorted.

Yeah. Erg. I am not convinced!!! I have to break this up.

Right NOW. I will put on my scruffy's, set the alarm for 15 minutes, and clean the refrigerator and kitchen sink.

After that, I will open up the bedroom to light and air and begin to sort those clean clothes and prepare to fold and hang them by making space for them.

Eeek. If I can do the fridge and sink and maybe floor, that would be good. I'll be back in half an hour.

Positive weekend

Came to work a few hours Saturday, got some things done. Today I have managed to exercise a little for the first time in ages, and have come in to work with a specific plan

Goal 1: 3:30 - 8 PM, work in 30 minute blocks x 9, finish a defined set of 6 case reports.

Goal 2: Really push to get them done

Goal 3: Leave at 8 PM

Goal 4: To bed by 11 PM

Back to report Monday.

Journey 9:30

After a stressful day yesterday, and looking forward to stressful day tomorrow with computer problems, today is an island of serenity!  I've taken the elderly doggies on a short walk and now I'm going on a long walk by myself at the park.

After exercise, shower and make a fruit smoothie, then do some laundry and housework, but mostly have a quiet relaxing day.
