Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Today was different because as well as having a sleep in, time to read my book and various domestic, social and pottering things I often do on a Sunday, I tackled a long outstanding job.
Despite some difficult emotional stuff that came up, I cleared out and repapered part of our pantry which had not been done in at least 6 years, probably 10. And I labelled all the herbs and spices!
I know this might not seem like a big deal to some, but it was an achievement for me.
Going to the cinema with friends tonight.
Wishing you all a happy weekend, with time for rest and productive work.
Having problems with my work computer again. I can't get onto the network and I have work to do tonight - my coworker is going to help me out but it's fricken annoying. I'm feeling extremely tired and down and I think the computer problems plus not sleeping well is the cause. I kept waking up and worrying what I was going to do if I couldn't work tonight and being angry with the help desk because they can't help, and just generally fretting. It's a pain in the a$$ but it's not the end of the world. I shall chill, do the best I can and then worry about it Monday morning. If I can't complete my work I can reschedule it for next weekend. Deep breath. Could be worse. Imma go finish putting away groceries and make a nice dinner.
Update 10:30 co-worker did my install and it only took 30 minutes and worked perfectly. *whew* Work laptop is still broken, but we'll cross that bridge monday morning. I have a ticket open already so I should get help early monday.
