Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I am definitely in the begining cycle of becoming a butterfly, but at least I am not somewhere sqashed in the dirt. Somehow, I keep thinking I should be able to fly while I am still a catapiller, but I need to remeber there is a cycle or growth and metamorphasis.
Today I've been to church, gone shopping, spent some time w/ my bf's mom, and set up a model railroad :) It's nice to have some scheduled, guilt-free fun (I think this is really important for avoiding procras.)
I've also done a little bit of work...I made a schedule for next week, and started (very preliminary) brainstorming for my thesis proposal.
In the rest of the day, I'd like to do some more (academic) work, and a few more chores as well. In particular, I'd like to:
1)Organize papers in my room
2)Deal w/ emails from the past week
3)Fix terrible javascript validation
4)Spend 45 min organizing computer files
5)Do cooking for the week
OK, I'm going to take care of the papers and emails now. Should take about an hour total. Back when that's done.
Cheers Rexroth! I'm back in action today too! I'm def climbing out of the funk today, thank goodness! I'll be doing housework today and maybe having the kids for dinner so I won't be checking in much unless I get stuck.

I started today with my P.T. exercises, but have no hope of being consistent. Every time I have hope and feel it's going well, it falls to poop, so I don't know. Would like to end the day with my p.t. exercises, then there are p.t. back stuff I need to do 10 times a day.

I struggle with that kind of stuff too, and again, I think it's because we expect too much of ourselves. We shoot for perfection every time and naturally 'fail' every time. Actually, you're able to do your exercises some of the time, and that's not failure, it's progress. You'll probably find you can do them more of the time if you can treat missing a day as just missing a day and not everything falling to poop (though like I said... I struggle with that too!! :) )
Your feedback is very helpful. The only thing I can think of is maybe HP put us together and here with our Pro COMMUNITY (yes that's the word) so we can get help from one another?

packed one load of office supplies for delivery
lunch and put out food for birds
put on washing machine
checked emails
