Movingalong: inner sunshine amidst outward storms

Hello all.

Today, we are having   local weather storms.

This is giving my home  flickering electricity, and therefore, an unreliable internet connection.

However, today I was able to attend most of the online P.A. 12-Step meeting, before I lost connectivity. Not all of the meeting, but most of it. Imperfect, but still wonderfully helpful.

I am grateful that Higher Power provided P.A. members to lead today's meeting, and that I was able to experience some recovery by attending.

This helped to bring some  inner sunshine.
. . . . . . .

Summary of my past week:

My sponsor in another program is aware of my difficulties with a certain project.

She suggested that I work with Steps 6 and 7, and that is helping me a lot.

Peace,
movingalong

Please do not leave advice.  Thank you.  Prayers welcome.

Higher Power,

Grant me the wisdom to know the tasks,

The courage to do them,

and the serenity to accept the result.

Thanks Falcon for the sunny starter!!

Hi All,

Lots to do today. Am freaking out that I'm not going to get my doggy job. If I'm having so much fear about it, it's probably not going to happen. I have a website to start my own doggy business and I fear my possible employer will look me up and see it. I would never steal clients and the area they cover isn't the locations I want to cover. Maybe I should tell them of my past intentions, I'm freaking out.

-lots of laundry
-clean out cabinets and put down boric acid - not all but started!!
-cook will do!!
-ordered Yoffee a bed
-go food shopping
-clean kitchen
-work on website
-answer want ads
-do p.t. exercises - will do
-go to OA meeting - hope so
-do nails will do

I feel lots of self-hatred today.

Falcon CI Sunday

Good morning everyone!

I have the day to myself, and that can often be when I get bogged down and depressed.  Not doing that today!

Things to do right away this morning:

  • Batch of candied nuts (Maybe do 2 batches and get them in the oven at once)
  • Batch of fudge
  • Sort laundry and get first load in

After I do those things I'll check back in.  Going to go put some music on and get started!

Falcon CI Sun. a.m.

O.k., so far so good!  Lots to do.  Next up:

  • 20 minute break so I don't burn out
  • Next load of laundry
  • Assemble the candy boxes
  • Write out the cards and address labels

Then I'll check in again here.

Falcon

Edited to add. . . I definitely need more nuts!  Guess I'd better do my grocery run now.  I'll try & do it quickly so I can be done in time to take a walk while the sun is still high.  Gotta remember to stop by the bank, too.

Falcon Sunday CO

Woohoo!  I got all the candy made & boxed & ready to mail to all my out-of-state friends.  Plus did laundry & grocery shopping and did exercise for my work project.  I still have a few things to do to get ready for tomorrow, but I think I'll make it to bed at a reasonable hour.  Yay!

Good night, everyone!
