pro's last check-in - 11:30pm

I'm ready for bed now. Maybe, if I get up early tomorrow, I can do a little of my pile. (I sound just like that video.)

pro's CI - 10:30pm

I managed to do everything but my pile (again). I need to get ready for bed now - brush teeth, shower.

Done So Far:

- Rearrange window plants for beauty and giving the right plants most sun.
- Dust coffee table and everything on it.
- Made delicious lunch for myself.
- Took pills (dose 1 of 3).
- Dust trays under coffee table and stuff in it (and declutter).
- Repaired something that's been broken for years (took a while to do this).
- Get bagels for breakfast.
- Finish going through magazines.
- Do handwashing (including stained stuff).
- Do laundry (machine).
- Vacuum.
- Wash dishes.
- Finish dusting.
- Clean bottom shelf in medicine cabinet.

To-Do:

- Get ready for bed

Another Day:

- Pick stuff up at dry cleaner, and drop stuff off.
- Handle stuff in pile.

pro's CI - 9:20pm

Laundry took twice as long as usual because one of the machines I used broke down and I had to wash the load again in another machine. :( I vacuumed as soon as I got back - if it gets too late, my neighbors don't like it.

N's bookend

Hello all,

I'm feeling nervous.  I didn't bookend here this morning and now I'm afraid I'll "fall off the wagon" and not do work tommorrow.  I got up late -- because I stayed up late ARGH.  Then I went to the movies with my partner and to a 12-step mtg.  It was a good day . . . except I didn't work on my dissertation (or even "act as if" I was :) !)

So better late than never?  I'm committing to 45 minutes of work now.

Thank you all for your help.

Nan

N's bookend done

Okay, finished that.  Next commitment:  get to bed by 11:30.

:)

"see" you all tommorrow.

pro's CI - 4:45pm

I blew the dry cleaners. They're closed. I don't know their hours, which is a pain, and they're not posted on the door. I need to go do my laundry now - can't wait any longer.

I should go do my laundry soon. First of all, I need to do laundry. But also it's beautiful out and I should enjoy the day. Come to think of it, I need to get to the dry cleaners before it closes. Maybe I'll do that first.

pro's CI - 11:50am

I'm dressed - obviously done in slow motion. I spent more time rearranging the window plants for beauty and to make sure the right plants were getting maximum light. I need to decide if I should now go do laundry, or some dusting and vacuuming here first. I think I'll do some dusting and vacuuming because I'm listening to a radio program I like.

pro's CI - 9:45am

I got up early, but I woke up with a migraine so I got a slow start. My headache is better now, and I need to start thinking about what I'll do. I still have my detailed to-do list from yesterday. I think I'll start by dusting and vacuuming. No, I should start by getting dressed. :)

Laundry has to happen today, and the pile. I have other things I'd like to do, too. I'll have to see how far I get. I need to prioritize my list.

fooling around

Just telling on myself here. Rather than getting into the shower, I'm playing with the settings on my radio. I'll let myself do that for 5-10 more minutes, but then I have to get going.

augh!!

Playing with the radio led to rearranging the window plants, and naturally I dropped one of the orchids and had to repot it.

8:50am CI for Lark

I did okay yesterday, but the one thing I wanted to do for work most of all didn't get done. It's been several days, and I've barely touched it. My life would be better if I just did it. Talk about insanity. For today I'm just bookending with that till it's finished.

I've nearly finished file one of landlord's files, there are three in total and there is more to do even when I've gone throught them all.
I and tired out and am stopping for a while.

Rexroth 17.41 BST

Just finished first file and put them all away. Work on other files will be easier as I know what I'm doing.

Sorted a lot of stuff for going away including finding a lot of bits that were hiding themselves and listed stuff to buy and do before I go.

Now to clean and clear a bit more and that will be it.

Rexroth 22.09 BST

I've got the stuff for going away sorted and packed away again as builders are coming in on Tuesday. I've also washed up and cleared up and had a both and a rest. I feel tired and slightly depressed. Anyway I've done what I set out to do. Also I've organised some stuff I'm taking to a charity abroad. All of this is in good time so that's recovery and I'm grateful for it.

So prayers and reflection

Good night good people

Rexroth

congrats to Rexroth

Rexroth,
congratulations on doing what you set out to do today.
And you have been organizing for your upcoming trip... with time to spare.

That is, indeed, recovery!

sincerely,
