colors & font sizes not sticking
Another error I see is that colors and font sizes are not sticking when set in the WYSIWYG editor.

I think I know what the problem is with the rich text editor.

Also, it looks like the edit box for leaving a comment won't let you paste into it until you enter something from keyboard.
I may have seen this in the past; it feels faintly familiar. Fortunately, the workaround is easy.

wrong sequence chat messages
I just saw another weird thing, which I think I also saw on the interim site, but only occasionally. Once in awhile, refreshing the chat box gets the messages out of order. Right now, I am seeing my most recent chat message at the top of the chat screen, instead of the bottom.
I am wondering if this might be related to recently rebooting chat and / or the whole system.

For what it's worth. Probably not a super big deal, but documenting in case it may come up again in the future. Seems I have seen things like this occasionally before.

I lost the site for about 20
I lost the site for about 20 minutes, today, starting from around the top of this hour. I got an error message like the following:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function module_exist() in /home/procrastinators/www/www/includes/common.inc(1769) : eval()'d code on line 3

Yeah, I accidentally crashed the site by trying to change the theme. No idea why that crashed it. I got it back up by editing the theme in the database directly.
The problem with the right sidebar on the front page has been reported many times, but - like so much in Drupal - it has never been fixed. I was trying to sidestep the problem by changing the theme, and ... crash.

Time to leave "well enough" alone. I'm sleep-deprived, and I only can make things worse now. I'll fix the sidebar problem at some point. It's not critical.
