Excellence is not

Excellence is not perfection but a commitment to completion. - one of my wise sisters challenged me w this tonight. Oh God, I can let things get so overwhelming (sometimes in my mind, sometimes in reality!).  And then I opened up this post and saw Jalla's starter - perfect timing!!

I was challenged Mole by your cancelling of two pleasurable outings - that takes courage!

I hope you're feeling better Rexroth, Lennon I always am encouraged by your faithfulness and commitment, Vic thanks for reminding me about the basics of self care (went for a swim tonight because of you), Eleanor welcome back and hope launch goes well and to Jalla - thanks for the wisdom and encouragement.

So, fresh starts and back to ground level:

I admit that I am powerless over my procrastination and debt and that my life had become unmanageable.  I came to believe that a Power greater than myself could restore me to sanity and I made a decision to turn my will and my life over to the care of God. I humbly ask God to remove my shortcomings. I pray constantly and unceasingly only for knowledge of God's will for me today and the power to carry that out.  

Its not about the tasks - its about listening to the moment and going with the flow of the spirit - today and NOW.

Its not about the money, its about listening to the simplicity of need and contentment - today and NOW.


I'm on nightshift at the moment -3 more to go. Very nerve wracking as lots of responsibility and constantly getting barraged for decisions regarding patient care. It is a privilege to help people in their suffering but it weighs heavy.  Got a reasonable amount of sleep, not too tortured.

Instead of denial and fear I need to let go of these and remind my self that these exams, this study aims to make my job easier!  Think of the positive, not the negative! Carrots, not sticks!!

Important for today: reconnect with my higher power as been ignoring him!

cool starter jalla, baby steps

Mole's check in

Beautiful, starter, jalla. Very tiny steps for me today. Yesterday my list was way too optimisitc for my energy levels. an part of this checking in is about being realistic - not setting the goal too high as much as low.

this morning cancelled two arrangements for today, both pleasurable ones. 

i have worked on writing for two hours. That is enough for now. I can pick it up later if I feel up to it.
