Sending you encouragement with trying the generators. Is there a way you can break that down into less-scary steps? And maybe release the fears to HP? And can you ask for help with this project?

Good suggestions. I have already asked J to read up on the instructions, get the gas can and the gas. So all I need to do is these small steps:
remove generators from their boxes
when I get home tonight ask J to show me how to work themset them on the handtruck one at a time
wheel them near the front garage door
set them on floor mats
find the packages of wires and accessories and lay them nearby
text Mike and ask him to drop by on way home from work and help his Dad fire them up
fire them up once myself
let them cool down
make a plan for packing them when they are fully cooled
move truck into driveway
pack them for trip, or for moving to backyard if they will be packed in the rig
I also commit to honestly asking HP if any of the lifting is too much for me and if I feel the answer is yes, I will ask a neighbor for help with that part.

Reminder of what its all about...
I need to get this exam off my back.
In my mind I can visualised me passing my exam in Feb & March. How? lots of past questions and reading around the topics of revision. Cost? 2hours min each work day, 6hours min each non work day. What does this mean? no internet, no TV, no pfaffing - if its not a task, don't do it! Why? To be a better doctor.
