Since the chatbox is down (that's where I usually am), I'll post here.
My health tanked recently because I hadn't been taking my medication. Taking care of my health is now my #1 priority. It's 11:15pm, and that means I need to start getting ready for sleep. I cannot (CANNOT) skip my medication, so I have to get right on that now.
Too often I either delay going to sleep because I haven't taken the dreaded pills, or I skip the pills and go to sleep anyway. Both are very bad for my health.
I took almost all the pills and supplements (there's a ton of it - I'm taking extra supplements to deal with my current health crisis). I have just a few more to swallow, and then I'll brush my teeth.
I mix up something that includes part of what I take - aloe juice (tastes vile), Vitamin C, Inositol (Vitamin B8), and L-Glutamine. So I did that, then washed the blender.
I am prepping for a big test tomorrow. If anyone wants to burst with me, send me an e-mail. Maybe we can keep it via e-mail or find a 3rd party chatroom?
Argh, chatbox isn't working right when I've just made a Big Commitment to Not Procrastinating! This must be a learning experience :)

The ’3Ts’ aka ’Timed Task Tomorrow’ method - 3 questions before doing something online:
Is it Timed (set a timer)? Is it a Task? If it's a sudden impulse, can I act on it Tomorrow?
I didn't realize the chatbox was down until I tried to log into it this evening. I tried clearing the cache (which usually works), but no joy. It's more seriously broken because our Web host discontinued support for PHP 5.2 today.
This will require some serious programming to resolve. I've been having health problems, but I will start to work on it this weekend. I may not be able to resolve it all this weekend, but I'll start.
It was a brave actrion you took last week - thats all we can do take the action and hand the rest over. I am sending you a big hug through the computer! Your voice is perfect as is dear Vic. Solidarity and respect for the big step taken last week. Scary but so BRAVE!!!! xoxo
Good morning! I'm committing to starting my day with 30 minutes of prayer and reflection no matter what, now through Nov. 14 to build the habit. Today I had to strenuously ignore texts and a phone call - hard! - muscle-building for alot of other distraction resistance, I think.
Today I am very tired after spending the night in ER after J reacted badly to a new medicine - all good now, thank God. But I need to go easy on my expectations of God, myself and others today. Already asked for help @ office so I can work from home on 2 large writing projects due Wednesday - grateful for great colleagues and a disability-friendly workplace. Here's my plan:
x PA post
x salt bath
x lunch: salad, carrots, meat
x cut and paste from emails into D prop design
x break
~ identifty gaps in D prop design; create a plan with timetable to fill gaps - mised this part but did well on the first part of this task
x break Missed doing all the rest of these italicized items bc J fell in the shower which prompted about 3.5 hours to respond and resolve issues
- draft alternate D prop budgets (VH all, VH-FPs, PPN)
- cut and paste previous E prop to new format
- identify gaps in E prop design; create a plan with timetable to fill them
- clear out Inbox down to <5
x Dinner - simple! hot dogs, rice cakes, squash and zucchini
Blitz one small sheaf of papers from the personal scary bills-and-business pile x bed by 10
Slept well but woke feeling ill and exhausted so I need to do the essential today.
x Prayer and reflection
x Check emails and reply to one which is a week old
x Go back to bed
x Deal with mail when/if it comes
x Go out to volunteer work in late afternoon - this is very x important to me
x Do not overeat
x Check emails when I get back
x Write journal
x Prayer and reflection
Bed and sleep
and if I feel better there is much else I can do.
22.04 all done and some work on my flat file this morning. I tried to work on my book and couldn't. So now for bed after a day when I have done my best.

THINGS I DID WELL TODAY
i was proactive about my garden mess and have negotiated a plan. This has been on my mind and getting worse for some time. So yay. I also managed all but two things on the list. Good day I spite of sore eye.
For great thread- my enthusiastic encouragement to fellow travellers.
I'm writing this on Sunday night to start the week off!
I admit that I am powerless over my procrastination and debt and that my life had become unmanageable. I came to believe that a Power greater than myself could restore me to sanity and I made a decision to turn my will and my life over to the care of God. I humbly ask God to remove my shortcomings. I pray constantly and unceasingly only for knowledge of God's will for me today and the power to carry that out.
Its not about the tasks - its about listening to the moment and going with the flow of the spirit - today and NOW.
Its not about the money, its about listening to the simplicity of need and contentment - today and NOW.
Main focus this week
Exam study- weekdays 2hour days off 6hrs no excuses. Topics resp pharm, revise physiology

So right now, I will take my mediation.
pro's check-in (1:10am)
I took all my medication and supplements and brushed my teeth. Jammies are on.
I'm going to lie down with a heating pad for a while, then lights out.
Good night.

My calendar is updated, and now I'm really done. Going to bed now. Good night!
one more thing...
I forgot about my calendar. I need to update that before I go to bed. I'm working on it now.
