Things had been going well with my new job, but in the part few weeks I've slowly started to be late for work and today my boss commented on it for the first time. She was really nice about it, but I was SO ashamed because it has been an issue in my past workplaces too and I honestly thought I had changed. It's setbacks like these that make me wonder if I'm really making progress or if I've just lowered my expectations. Anyway I felt like a check in here maybe would help so I wont let the guilt send of into a downward spiral.

Still on a go-slow. Fanatically reading a particular blog rather than getting on with my day and my work. Did manage to get a few small things done yesterday. And starting work at 11 am is better than nothing (and certainly better than yesterday and the day before)

today I have: 

  • Had a good breakfast
  • Had a shower
  • Invited J for dinner
Today I will:
  • Do good work for P (4 x 40 min poms) done 1/4
  • put washing on
  • hang washing out
  • Have a nice salad for lunch nope. hardly had a thing
  • Walk to high st for pots & cards. V if not. didn't bother. 
  • Smile, because you have the ability to do many things, and most importantly to be happy. The motivation will come. erm, not exactly

Thanks Mole! This is the first time I've felt Me in about a week, have been off with flu. I've rarely had it, what a weird feeling in addition to the expected fever and heavy cold symptoms - an indescribable weakness. But strength now seeping back into body and mind. Am not going into work til Monday but will be able to Do Stuff at last. So here is the stuff: 


- read A's appraisal stuff and either approve or make suggestions


- write up my apprialsal stuff and send to N

- read the CAandMH stuff

- write your para for CAandMH, send to K


- plan Monday class.

- read B's work 

- find Monday reading and re-read it - oops, it's at work

Woke fairly early at six and today felt relased and not paniced on waking which is a blessing. Today I am going to take it easy and get things done

Not to do: - any more work on buying new flat unless I am contacted about it, any craft work

Just past midday and I have felt ill this morning and retreated to bed getting up to do small bits of paperwork. I am surprised and pleased at what I have done and sorted out.

Now lunch and back to bed

Today have felt rough for most of the day. I have not done exercise or walking which I feel ok about nor have I done any writing which I don't. I've spent most of the day in bed. I have cleaned tidied and sorted everything.

So prayer and reflection, bed and sleep.

It's Thursday evening - a busy day and I didn't check in - several things to be woven into the next few days viz Think about R's induction for Wed, transfer to LM by Tues. set up for that. Check Dropbox functionality, work out meal for B And S Sat, card and thesis for M Sat lunchtime, prep travel visuals for G and C Sat.

i am happy these last two days that I have calmly persisted in the face of adverse technology ans transactions - my usual mode is hiding my head in the sand.

Ku reading the quiz, the old shoe friendship with K and her common sense. G, M and S and how welcome they make me feel. Seeing G and meeting A and being reminded of how far I have come in two years. walking in the bush with C and conversing gently. The amazing cloud formation. Feeling well.
