12:54:15 ‹clement› I am quite dissatisfied that this is working.
12:54:41 ‹clement› as i was reading, i was thinking the idea i posted before, that this reading is actually changing the dopamine balance in my brain.
12:54:58 ‹clement› so today, as i was reading, i was also thinking "this is changing the dopamine in my brain"
12:55:37 ‹clement› and, i think it was. it was making something that was previously low-dopamine (going up stairs and getting something) into high-dopamine (i have the motivation to do this)

Thanks to everyone for the lovely welcome-back messages!  Here's my best guess at God's plan for my Tuesday so far:


  • DONE finish morning routine
  • be at work by 9:30 [actual 10]
  • DONE type up and mail journal edits
  • DONE 10:30 metabolic
  • DONE research prep and be on time for 11am meeting
  • DONE followups to 11am meeting
  • DONE 1230 lunch 
  • finalize sponsor packets and email to all team 
  • add pile of potentials to master outreach list 
  • email sponsor packages to all outreach list 
  • DONE 3 mmetabolic
  • reduce Inbox to <10 [got it to 15 though!!]
  • 545 dinner at home [very late + incomplete]
  • 645 walk doggie 
  • DONE 7:10 pick up C for meeting
  • 930 bed [fell asleep in chair around 10, ouch]


I have a major fearful procrastinated financial task that I just don't see how to fit it in the day without sacrificing sleep. I will pray today for honesty, openmindedness and willingness to receive godly inspiration on when and how to schedule and accomplish this BHT (Big Hairy Task).

It's been ages since I checked in, need to get back in the habit.

Thanks for the starter Jalla :).

  • get up EARLY!!!!!!! 6.45am it is :).
  • make my usual address to HP and so forth.
  • get myself ready and out the door by 8am, which should be plenty of time.
  • be present, available, receptive and enthusiastic for my first class of my first day at my new university... why don't I feel more nervous?? It's WEIRD!!!
  • stay positive and focused and try to eat healthily...
I must try and find my reading glasses too as I have to start reading LOADS of books and typing up notes etc...really want to be a BRILLIANT STUDENT this year!!! Bring it on!!!!!
Now to walk the dogs before bed...
