I want to thank my Higher Power for this program, this website, the telephone and online meetings, and my life.
I want to thank Mole for starting this trend.
Things I will do today
1. Go to the 5:45 a.m. telephone ACA meeting
2. Go to the 6:45 a.m. telephone OA meeting
3. Go to the 7 a.m. telephone DA meeting
4. Take shower
5. Go to the 8:30 a.m. telephone UA meeting
6. Go to the 9 a.m. telephone ACA meeting
7. Go to the 9:45 a.m. telephone CLA activity line
8. Cook and eat breakfast
9. Prayer and meditation morning and evening

A new day...
Morning to fellow journey-ers and thanks to Mole for starting the thread and your example of accountability - much appreciated!
Sunday was out of control 'unmanageable' as we say - I could 'hear' what the flow was and yet chose to ignore it. Sigh. I am choosing to be 'open' and take a fearless inventory of Sunday, to 'feel' the pain and uncomfortable feelings, to 'release', to move beyond denial, to be 'open' and accept forgiveness & healing, realise and decide that I am willing to stop my compulsive behaviours and denial, to ask for the wisdom and power for today only so that I may begin to be healed, healthy and whole.
Its not about the tasks - its about listening to the moment and going with the flow of the spirit - today.
Its not about the money, its about listening to the simplicity of need and contentment - today.
So far today - got up when alarm went off, healthy bfast, prayer and devotion.
Important reflection on yesterday esp with vic's posting on The language of Letting Go.
I also recognize that I am quite anxious about restarting work on Wednesday - it often happens that the things I am good at I want to be 'perfect' (whatever that means) and not let my mentors/people I love down --- so put more pressure on myself which often leads to let myself down on unrealistic expectations, self sabotage and self punishment.
There is a Sia song where she sings... "We like you, this is a game already done, your time has come, stop trying."
Two big life changing things have just happened already this morning:
1/ my tax refund came through much sooner than I expect which is a release for one part of my mind: I have clear plans how to give and use this money to extricate my debt free aim by NYE and share
2/ I just got a call telling me I was unsuccessful for my Plan A job for 2014 - no huge surprise as competitive but still a bit of a sting. BUT I have a fantastic Plan B who have been lovely enough to wait for my results so I will be moving halfway across the country next year to start work in a fascinating town. I am so grateful for having opportunities and choices in jobs in a time where they are thin on the ground.
It will soon be 10am and my concentration will start to kick in (my body clock is nocturnally orientated! - it totally changes my day planning knowing this).
