I need to stop watching TV late at night. I think I stay up to avoid going to sleep because I have such difficulty in going to sleep. It's a vicious cycle.
I'll be working late again tonight and won't be home until 12:30 am. Then I need towind down before I get into bed.
Work for day:
Call Dr. R. office
Call sister about groceries
Print latest version of journal.
Review journal (2 revisions)
email to Claudia
work on resume (if time permits)
Go for run
Sort through papers for photocopying
Get lunch ready for work
Leave for work between 4:30 & 5 pm and get to work 1/2 hour early
to do got diverted for an hour soritng out other problems in the morning, and then agian in the afternoon to deal with urgent stuff for a colleague on holiday

Abstinence from unplanned time.
The one thing, the only thing, i can do impulsively is write something on my todo list.
The one thing, the only thing, i can do off plan is recovery, something to maintain my sobriety, when tempted. I have come to believe that it is more important to maintain sobriety than to get things done.

THINGS I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER
remembered that my worth rests in what God thinks of me, what Jesus did for me on the cross, not on my performance, past or present.
THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR (everything i "did well" comes from god, either thru gifts he's given me or the way he's transformed me)
i received a renewed conviction that my past failures should not affect my present. Jesus has washed them away in his blood on the cross. They are no more. God does not remember them. As far as the East is to the West, so has God removed my sins from me. I realized today that remembering this fact faith statement will totally eliminate loss of productivity due to guilt, fear, feeling like a failure, and escapism. That's a huge chunk, but not all of it
That i helped the wife.
That i met a great business associate.
that i went to client's office and was successful and efficient.
