Valentine's Day was saved :) So, I'm in a better mood ... though the PMS is still influencing ...
I am feeling a stronger motivation to do what I must regarding work & job apps. Too bad my body doesn't feel much like following at the moment! It's a lazy Friday with continued gloom/rain/clouds weather. Stay in bed reading a book type of morning. Which I might do for a while.
My plan for today is to let myself have my "run-up" time to get myself ready. When I am ready, I will start doing the assignments, and when I really want to, I will start a job app with help from my God. I don't want to speak too soon, but it does feel like a ray of light might be starting to shine through my 6+month long paralysis regarding career.
In Jesus' name I pray today to be given the physical strength and desire and motivation that I need to start taking small actions, and to be given some idea of what direction the Lord has planned for me. Amen.

Happy Friday! Today is my 60th birthday, and TBH I feel a bit depressed about it. I took the day off work and I'm kinda wishing I had gone in to work now. But anyway, we're still on the green side of the grass, so let's go enjoy the day. Here's what I'm planning to do today:

I've already done my list on paper for the day, so I won't put it here. I just wanted to pat myself on the back for giving up my favorite Internet site for Lent. It was such a time waster. I could spend an hour a day on it over two or three sessions per day, just reading news about the worst the world has to offer. And of course I would check it when I was supposed to be getting stuck into other work. And so far, I have gone 48 hours without it. Yay me.
