meditate 15 mins.
shower/dressComplete 1 cycle of 15 minutes each of:
-- dishes-- clean
-- back exercise/practice
-- massage
Appointments:
12pm - Duo Reh
3:45-6pm - MH class
6:30-7pm - Bauman
anytime - Make bread
If there’s time after I complete what’s listed above, I will select 2 activities and cycle them in 15 minute bursts.
Things I did well today:
I still did SOMETHING today - answered some emails and stayed on top of dishes - even though I was off schedule.
Things I can improve on:
WELL... today was not a "Consistency over emergencies" day. A big decision came up-- essentially the BF and I decided that we're going to move to Colorado this summer, whether he gets into the doctoral degree or not. We're in Maryland now... it's a big step. We want to live closer to nature, and have our kids (someday) grow up in a less hectic environment. BUT that being said, it's still a scary leap, to just MOVE because you want to. And have no job waiting for you. That's the life of a freelancer!
SO my mind has been brewing with to-dos and urgencies today. I guess that's okay for now.
3 things I’m grateful for:
1) MH.
2) Bread.
3) Knitting. (one more email and then I'll knit.)

**Reposting due to kind people sending their condolences. Thank you so much for those. Please feel free to reply to my 12.25 post if you want to send me good wishes. I appreciate all of them**
So the funeral is over with, and went fine. We gave her a great send-off and I realised once again how great it is to have friends and family support rather than shutting yourself away and trying to cope on your own or relying on DH all the time. But now thoughts turn a little to the mammoth tasks at hand (clearing and selling the house), as well as trying to get back to some semblance of normality with work. One small tiny step at a time.
We start with the following:

In the office today but feeling extremely stressed so posting todo list here. Somehow posting it here to share with my supportive peeps makes it feel more doable.
OK it doesn't seem so bad now that it's written down. Deep breath. L8tr.

Show up, pplan, exerThanks for starter Jal . I try to remind myself that my HP and power is only in the "now" because my HP said I am, not I will be or I was, so can only be found in the now.(somehow I still keep forgetting this so thanks for reminder)

So often you say, "I had no choice." There is always a choice. The
problem is, you may not like the options, so you say you have no choice.
Don't imprison yourself with the myth that you are not choosing your
life. You are at every moment. So choose consciously."Reon Schutte

Sympathies for your loss.

@ knitfisher
Sending you condolences for your loss. Thinking of you.
Welcome Dotty!
Welcome to your first daily check in!!
- wishing you a great day today/
thanks Jalia!
thank you for your encouragement!
I didn't get much done... but i did get SOME of it done which is something... but yes helpful to put it here and revisit it this morning to remember what I planned to do! Going to shift my 'to dos' which turned into 'not dones' over to saturday.. as thats the next time I'll have to get on with stuff... slowly but surely :-)
-actually I think what I'll do saturday is also write this stuff on a piece o paper too and pin it up... as I kind of typed it in here.. logged off and didn't have any reminders in plain sight...
thanks
Dotty
Dotty Check in 6 Feb 10am
Thanks jalia.. my first ever daily check in woop!
Will be back in a few hours to tick things off.. I darn well hope so..
Animation project to do:
-watch other animations and get inspiration - most importantly make notes about why they are good and techniques used that I could incorporate
-nope
-work on my drawings-a tiny bit....like half an hour!
-look at where I'm at with the script and think of some other ideas
-half an hour...but still came up with a couple of ideas so better than nothing though worse that the several potential hours i had!
Other
-do the dishes (easy, but nice to put at least one thing on here that I'll have NO problem doing! and will definitely be ticking off the list later :-))
-easy - done
-clean the bathroom :-)
-done and looks like a hotel bathroom now! So that makes me feel good evertime I go in there now! Much better than everytime I go in there thinking 'I should clean the bathroom'.. which was like 4 times a day for two weeks.. so that thought occured to me like 56 times lol! But only finally did it coz I promised my flatmate i would! - he didn't realise he was acting as an accountability partner :-)
-pay the water bill (why oh why does this one make me feel nervous??)
-oops no heck better do this to keep the wolves from the door! It has been know for debt collectors to start sending letters coz I've stupidly avoided these things!
-book train tickets.. or at least check prices.. as I find it ridiculously hard to commit to things in the future!
-nope.. and I'm heading for one of those unwelcome side effects of procrastination = financial loss!... as the prices will go up!!
-maybe watch some coursera videos - online history course
-did this..which enriched my day so much more than the evils of surfing the internet.. a feeling of accomplishment.. though not on my main project - still thats something :-)
Great to at least cross some things off! See y'all Saturday x Dotty
