I started later in the day.  But, I am working in the chatbox and getting some things done.  During the rest of today I'd like to accomplish:

1. dismantle float

2. 2 more hrs. of cleaning

3. shower

4. write a priority list for tomorrow.

The biggest priority is dismantling this float that we made for a parade.  it wouldn't be a big issue if it weren't for this stupid storm.  Now, I better get it done today, so I don't get stuck doing  it the rain tomorrow.  I absolutely dread this and need to talk myself into it.  We were going to leave it up as a decoration, but it isn't safe with the wind.  I guess I should just do a little at a time...here i go....

3:30pm pseudo-phone ckin.

last hour i picked up son, watched storm coverage, and started cleaning up outdoor furniture. It really helped that i had a break.

3:38 now, so 25 min is 4:03pm. i'll do that burst then ck bk here.

Lord, i dedicate this upcoming 25 min to you. I am willing to be willing to give my life to you.

5:32pm.

that went well. running out of daylight. need to make a list of what has to be done.

the is my pseudo-phone ckin.

next hour i have to...
RF
other? will make list.

5:40.

have my list and rdy to go. God must be with me today.

6:30pm

no one on the ph line, so i'll ck in here.

i just did my list. like a normal person. it was an hour of life in recovery. Thank you God for doing that in my life, however brief it lasts.

7:30pm

just had dinner and some down time.
i'm very tired.
i had 3 more things to do before bed.
oh and several more things.
too much....

7:35

trouble getting going. going to read 1 chapter of the bible.

8:41

have not read the bible. bought some stuff i wanted instead. then read some news.

yeah... procrastinating...

back to bible. 1 ch then back to work.

8:56

back on track! read teh bible. 2 cor 2. not the most spiritual, but it was good. Paul loves jesus and has committed his life to preaching about him.

10:39

i'm done. that's the most productive day i've had in months. where was all the paralysis? where all the escapism and avoiding? It was only there today in small amounts. Truly a blessing given to me today from God.

12:23am

i'm procrastinating bedtime. Lord i have to ask you again, help me get to bed. Ok i can feel the help coming, i think i'm ready.

Hamlet's checkin

The primary task of the day is to finish drafting the VN LEP EOI,  I will do so in 1-2 hour blocks, interspersed with 15-20 minute bursts of household chores, meditations, simple exercise, etc.  When I am done with the EOI,  I will reward myself with a bit of grocery shopping and/or cooking.

Progress report

So far I have worked well in the morning part of the day, then again in the evening part of the day. There was a break in the middle where I lost an empowering context, and started missing home, and feeling lonely, and looking for ways to not work. I think I will remember next time to plan in some sport class or go ot yoga school or something, my prioritising only this writing today, has given me lots of free time, but has left me feeling a bit isolated. I did get motivated by staying logged into chatbox, thank you for all of you who were there working as well. Now, i want to start finishing some of the sections I satred today. so 1) finish 3 sections minimim is my goal for the next 2 hours.

 Peace

EleanorBE's Saturday List

Thanks Lennon!

- Proofs of article

- send corrections

- E. notes

- send notes to E

- LA CHAPTER- finish writing and do ALL e refs Still not quite finished! I'm pretty happy with it though, so though this feels like the classic proscrastinator's thing of not realising how long tasks will take, I don't feel like I procrastinated (except perhaps when I got really chilly sitting still and had a bath!) Will have to have a one-item list for early tomorrow morning...
