Show up (done), calender(done), exer.

 Rucuperating from trip, school meeting for son, almost wanted to reschedule, but better to just get it over with. Meeting is at 1, so if I get there on time, it will be the ONLY thing that will make me feel better about it.Also need to "act as if" it will be a good meeting. The past has no power of now.

Was an emotional roller coaster last week. Determined to be strong and positive this week. Plan for today:

  • 3/7 - finish up; 4 - finish up. start 5-6

Last week was unproductive, but this week I can do better.

Overall this week I will work on finishing my tasks from last week, doing review and lit. search, writing, testing collection, and doing 1 staining.

Today, I will:

*Finish up/down analysiS
*Make pub-quality figure (working on this)
*Look for small tumor slides, email EA if necessary (1 hr)
*Check on expts, restore (1.5 hrs)
*Get outline in shape to be send to Mu and EA (1.5 hr)

*Go to political mtg
*Do 2 hrs of financial stuff

fri at work i completed a major step of something. finally.

maybe that made me feel good or something, but fri night, sat, and sun til the eve were some of the best days i've had in a while.

And Sat i had some major stuff that happened that i had to deal with.

I feel like lately god only let's me have good days when he needs me to step up and do something big.

but, then, that all came crashing down sun eve. I had a horrible night and mon morn.

And i missed the 8:30pm 12 Step meeting!!! That's a painful loss for me to absorb.

But... i still want to come here, so i know god's grace is still with me.

So even tho having my quiet time and making my schedule seem like something only an insane person would do, i am setting out to do them. If god is with me, he will guide me thru them. Otherwise, i will go adrift for probably the whole day. Here's rooting for god being with me. Giving me the strength and guidance i need.


i have a reminder that goes off every hour that says "seek ye first the kingdom of god, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto to." That seems esp relevant to my life today. God help me do this.


did it. whew. seems like i barely succeeded. But it was good. Lots of good things in 1 Corintians. eg, "or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you...You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify god in your body."

Back after two weeks off revising for and sitting exams.  And a few days off at the end just to enjoy myself, which I did.  My thanks to all in the chatbox who supported me through my battles with revision.  I'm pretty sure I've done enough to pass, but don't know whether I've done any better than that.

Now it's back to work, and trying to catch up with everything.
