I'm not sure about castigating the impulses. I'd prefer a reward system, a promise of play, perhaps, if they would just hold off for a few hours, while other things got done.

Hi and good wishes to all.
Today, I want to track the constructive things I do, here. So far:

Today so far I have gone to lab mtg and worked on figuring out a pay issue
I probably have time for about 4 more hrs of work today. I will:
*Do 2 hrs work on revised outline
*Figure out up/down thresh (1 hr)
*Email S (30 min)*Ask about CDs
*Dinner AG
And if I have extra time, I will figure out liver struct.

Well, the 2nd freelance job is in full swing today. Half-way through it now. Getting tired. Won't see this money for weeks, but have to do it.
Need to write as soon as I'm done with editing job.
Feeling anxious knowing I will be going for a long drive out of state to be with family for a month to figure out next steps to not be homeless anymore. Homeless for almost 2 weeks now. Kind of can't believe it. Must remind self that this was decades in the making. Years and years of endless struggle with various issues, one major one being procrastination and avoidance, along with underearning and underbeing.
Upset about the way the stress has taken a toll on my health in a few short weeks. I must rise up out of this very soon. Must start exercising after I arrive this weekend.
Feel avoidance regarding working the 12 steps and getting a sponsor in other fellowship ... but how else will I get better ... my prayer for today is that God gives me the willingness to actively work the steps with a sponsor, and find that sponsor soon.

I am also feeling avoidance regarding working the 12 Steps and getting a sponsor in another fellowship to guide me through this process. But I am becoming more open to changes in my life, and getting to the root of why I procrastinate and of my other addictions and compulsive behaviours. So I will maintain contact with the other fellowships I am currently exploring, and remain open to my 'higher power' guiding me to a potential sponsor.

well, i did all the boring daily tasks but no decluttering or learning my exercise routine. i'm so sick of being dragged down by such boring stuff!!! it's taking up so much time.
well at least i am improving, today has been good really in comparason to real bad days where i literally do nothing, i know this is a depressive state,
i didn't eat, THIS HAS TO BE MY MAIN FOCUS

Tomorrow shouldn't be too difficult but I really really hope I can finish this chapter I'm writing. It isn't a case of procrastinating any more - I get straight down to it - it's just pretty slow work.

- make a plan for writing from 12-6.60- ring MW (Again!) if he hasn't written
- work on L chapterYay, it's finished! Well, i'll probably re-read it and change bits. But at least there's a version of it with all the bits in the right order!- as yesterday, don't check work mail in breaks between writing bursts, only first thing, then before lunch and tea
