Action is transitory,- a step, a blow;

The motion of a muscle, this way or that.

Trying a different approach to listing to-do items. It gets demoralizing listing the same items over and over from one day to the next. Maybe the list items will like being anonymous?

1) Test one defect
2) And another
3) And another
4) And another
5) And another
6) And another

Only completed two list items, but they were difficult. Moving rest of list to Sunday.

fudoshin: checkin: 3:26pm

Please do not leave advice or feedback.  Thank you.  Prayers welcome.

I received an email from the nsa telling me that I was not selected, simply because I did not submit my paperwork in on time, simply because I did not send my transcripts in, simply because I failed to contact the right person at the right time to have my deadline extended.  I feel like utter crap.  But on the other hand, I did want more money than they were offering and I did want to finish my M.S. and my B.A. first.  I find the work inspiring  that they do, much more inspiring than the mortgage industry.   Anyways, this is one of the reasons I'm in this program.  I don't even think it's so much procrastination ans self-sabotage, like I wasn't willing to do *the very thing*.  I'ts not an issue of incompetence.  On the other hand, like I say it could have also been the passive aggressive need to want to finish my M.S. first, and also it could have been that I  felt passive aggressive and did not like the salary they were offering.  But then again, that's my right.  I just feel like CRAP, receiving that kind of an email.  Anyways ...

Apparently my annoying neighbor still is having problems with "stomping" that she claims to hear and made noise complaints about the stomping, which is just absurd to me.

Lavida CI Sat. 9/29

I'm asking for some prayers, because I've been
getting hit at every corner all week long. Getting very weary of it all.
I really am doing my best but there seem to be a lot of things working
against my efforts. Thanks for keeping me in your prayers!

I'm asking God to protect me from the enemy and keep me, my mind, body, emotions, spirit and my property and my relationships and anything else associated with my life to be SHIELDED in the name of God's Only Son because I cannot move forward like this with these incessant strikes on me. I need TIME and I need MONEY and let NO PERSON, PLACE, THING OR SITUATION be an obstacle, but MAKE MY PATHS CLEAR and guided and protected by the Most High at all times in every possible way! AMEN.

Hypatia's check-in

please send encouraging vibes my way.  I've got to get the last but one tax return completed by Sunday night, and that involves trying to locate all the paperwork in the spare room, which I haven't touched for months.

I'm going to alternate bouts of clearing the spare room with some clearing up the kitchen and doing some baking, and quite a few cups of tea

Hypatia's tax return

The 2009-2010 tax return is now safely filed electronically (only 18 months late!).  I managed to get the 2010-11 one done about 6 months ago, so now I'm completely up to date.  My thanks to everyone in the chatbox for keeping me going.

EleanorBE's Saturday List

Well, I don't normally have a Saturday List becasue I've really mainly been using this for work stuff and I try to have Saturday off. This weekend there's too much to do, though, because on Thursday I went to a meeting which I hadn't attended since January, due to having time off for research - and found that there was a task I was supposed to have done over the past few weeks which I hadn't done. Because no one had contacted me about it. Very cross. Still, it it's the most vile and tedious piece of admin you can imagine - and that means I'll be really really keen to write today because it'll seem so much more pleasurable than doing the admin task. Haha. Anyway, this is more a time table than a list

10.45-11.15: admin burst (ss section)

11.15-12.00: writing burst (L chapter)

12.00-12.20: short admin burst

12.15-1.00: writing

1.00-1.30: admin

1.30-2.15: lunch

2.15-3.00 - writing

3.00-4.00 - big admin stretch

4.00-4.15 - tea

4.15-4.45 - writing

4.45-5.30 - admin

Wash hair

Go and see a film and have a curry!

Can't really cross of Saturday list...

...because I didn't stick to the timetable. Was interupted by a man coming to fix a light, a man bringing back a repaired chair and some window cleaners. And I didn't really predict the rhythm of work right. BUT I did finish the horrible piece of admin, as far as I could, and sent it off - so now it's in someone else's hands, to find some statistics for me.

October!

I am soooo sorry about the October glitsh - no wonder people feel rushed.

one very embarrassed mole

Thanks Hazy Jane for bring it to my attention.

Not a Problem, Mole

Calendar time is just a convention developed to serve (or interfere with, as the case may be) human convenience.  Happy to have your October be my September; and i am sure it is April somewhere for someone.

Don't worry, Mole

Don't worry, Mole - we still love you! Wink
