I had a work meeting this morning, then I had lunch. Then, for the last 2-3 hours, I have been totally paralyzed by all the stuff I have to do.

So, I am going to put a set, small-ish number of tasks on my list:
*Type up and email results

*Order VAD food
*Make appt. for haircut
*Outline poster
*Go to small group
*Call about W18, email some chemists

quick update from journey

Hey y'all!   I miss you!

I'm still hanging out at Zen Habits http://zenhabits.net/members/

I am planning to stay there one more month (it's $20.00 a month - actually it's more like $25 now but I joined when it first opened so I got a discount).  I've gotten a lot out of the program and when I get back here in November I can share some of it with you guys.   Leo has an 'uncopyright'  but he asked us not to post all the course content, natch!   It's ok to share a bit though so I'll pass on the main things I've learned.

There's nothing really *new*, we've heard it all before, but it's a good environment to practice building new habits in and you get a lot of webcasts and interaction with Leo which is pretty awesome.

I'm staying away from PA during this time so I don't spend all my time on productity forums instead of getting some work done :)  See you in Novemember.

Embrace the suck!

Finding a way CI

Thanks for the starter, lennon!

Well, I have a list for today and I need to move forward on it. Later I will post what I get done. I am stuck on a decision about my work which threatens to derail me. Maybe I can seek advice, but not sure who from. For the time being I will work on something else, even though this feels like a cop out, and try to come back to this.

Later: done today (not very satisfied, but ok):  some work on K and T projects, most of day spent updating template, went for bike ride (exercise), rang J and M. Still to do: dishes and music practice. Feeling resistant and struggling with things which need a decision.

Thank you all for being here, have a good day!

16.  Be aware of end of day bedtime procrastination before when I should go turn in for the night, to push through my demand resistance at going to sleep, and be in bed by midnight for a deserved night's rest. Affirm to myself that I am worthy of good self care and repose.
To try to defeat the belief that the chronic tiredness from lack of sleep that I feel that is exacerbating my compulsive task avoidance and lethargy is what I need to avoid unpleasant emotions and feelings of loneliness that I am afraid might come up and  plague me. And have a week's good sleep to aid my recovery from chronic undersleeping.
And to try to gently work through any unpleasant withdrawal symptoms from any increased productivity today Tuesday as I move to recovery from my debilitating addiction to procrastination & compulsive task avoidance.
