Salamander's check in - Sat 8 Sep '12

Just checking in to say I have a migraine today and may well do tomorrow. But am checking with the intent to do something if I can.

0120: Well, that was a day lost to useful work but the rest was good.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." (Anais Nin)

- "A procrastinator's work is never done."

hello hazy jane

smoothie sounds good!

i often have them as it's easier than deciding what to eat!

saturday 8 september plan

it's 13.40 now

to make the most of the rest of the day

2.00 cook and eat

2.45 clear out spare room, be ruthless, list on line the B.C. FROM J & S

4.00 go through and select 85 old small size items to list

5.00 list til 9.00
(4 hours)

9.00 check in here then come off line for the day

9.30 cook and eat

10.30 bath and bed

18.50 update

havn't started listing yet, i'm glad i just read vien's post 'to cut things down to more manageable tasks'. i was just trying to take advantage of ebay free listing til tomorrow. it's free for 100 items. perhaps if it were 5 i might have done it. i better plough on now. i have been through possesions and selected items, now to photograph and list. oh why oh why do i waste so much time

at least have cooked and eaten something healthy

so i'm going to start taking photo's now...after i've had a cigarette...geez...i punctuate everything with a cigarette

have a productive day everyone, feeling a bit flat now

am planning on changing my sleep pattern to go to bed earlier and rise earlier as it will be more productive time

21.19 update

well being off line for 21.00 was a big fib. have taken photo's and loaded them to pc, done about 10. 90 to go.

tomorrow i must be disaplined. and get things done.

Kodos 6:50

Feeling tired and a little sluggish, but I'm going to follow through on my regular Saturday schedule and try to work in a nap somewhere.

Have a great day everyone!

Feeling a lot of resistance doing my most hated task--e-mail, but I read the article on time-binging, and I'm going to put in another 20 minutes on a timer and be done with it for the day. Then onto paperwork and my to-do list, but only for an hour...

Whew! Got pretty far on e-mail. Now a quick break, then...

2:15-3:00 paperwork

little break/snack

3-4 sort out books

4:00-run, stop at store

6:00-make dinner/eat

7:00 go to A's party

Just have to grind it out...

Kodos--3:30 checkin

Wow. I feel like I'm cranking a rusty wheel to get through my list today; it hasn't been pretty, but it's getting done.

Finding it very difficult to get going and to make decisions!!!

  1. make a smoothie
  2. go to one-day convention (late)
  3. see a probably very crap play later cos it's free and ~I know someone in it
  4. make a healthy salad and some apple scones
  5. get my daughter to do some helpful things around here!! (such as hoover, recycling, dog-walking)
  6. do my exercises
  7. have a bath
  8. go to bed before midnight

That is all!

Thanks again Mole for a nice starter :)

It's an inside job...
