I didn't quite make it into work today for 8.30 as planned, but I did make 8.35, so not far off! And that still allowed me to leave in time to buy wrapping materials for Mum's present.

A busy evening today. I must

 

  • by 7.30 - ring Mum with eta good job I did - she thought I was going at the weekend!
  • before dark - dismantle more of the flowerbed down to the last layer now! and if I clear a little more of the rubble, I think I can leave the last layer of slabs in place - it will help me know where to start rebuilding when the new wall is in place.
  • before dark - put down weedkiller 
  • wrap present, write card
  • check recipes for party food and make notes
  • pack, not forgetting party food ingredients, recipe notes and fancy dress.Cool
  • contact  M & M re meeting up
  • contact builder
  • contact Rileys re next Weds
Otherwise, I'm having a few days off, when I needn't do anything except be nice to my Mum. But I might get on and finish either or both of the hats I'm in the middle of.

Worked until 2:30 am last night to meet a deadline. I was quite lethargic yesterday afternoon and didn't get much accomplished until 5 pm or so.

Today's work:

Afternoon

  • 1/2 hour update database
  • check skype account at 1:30 pm
  • Contact SS for elert details
  • Late lunch
  • Leave for work at 3:30 pm and get back at 9:30 pm

Evening after 9:30 pm

  • Wash dishes
  • Finish reading newspaper
  • Wash blouse
  • Tidy bedroom for 1/2 hour
  • Put pills in container for week
  • Take medicine at 11:00 pm so be in bed at 1 am

Hello everyone!
Today I shall live in the wellness
that my higher power (greater wisdom) envisions for me.

For me, I think this means living a balanced life
with joy, love, and attention
to what is *actually* true, kind, and helpful.

What is *actually* true, kind, and helpful
might not be what my unthinking crazed self would normally go to.

Oftentimes, my truth has been rationalization,
my kindness has been codependency,
and my helpfulness has been misguided.

But I know that a greater wisdom can guide me to something better.

Here's to having a true, kind, and helpful day
as guided by higher power.

3. Cook and eat breakfast

4. Prayer and meditation morning and evening

5. Take shower

6. Get dressed

7. Go to part of the 12 noon telephone ACA meeting

8. Go to part of the 1 p.m. telephone CLA activity line

9. Eat lunch

10. Fix dinner

11. Wash dishes

12. Go to the 3 p.m. telephone CLA meeting

Thanks Vientir, I concluded the same thing about waking early. It allows for much more time cushion if needed.

Grateful my health and car insurance are paid for. I am now going to bust out all the energy I can for the next 5 days to come up with rent money. I don't care if I wasn't successful last month. I was just warming up. I WILL GET THESE ARTICLES WRITTEN AND GET MY MONEY. I REFUSE to be a victim about my finances and I will not beg family for money. I am very lucky to have freelance work from home, not everyone can do that. I will take advantage of what's available to me today. 

I AM WRITING 11 ARTICLES TODAY. PERIOD. No matter how I physically or mentally feel, it will be done!!!!!

I don't normally wake up this early but I went to bed before midnight for a change. Sometimes a day is wasted just by waking up too late, so hopefully today will be an improvement.
