Innertruth's check-in

Had an MD appointment late this morning and came home exhausted.

I must complete my client's work today.

Other "to do" for today:

  • Run with friend ran by myself
  • Take new medication at 10 pm (12:30 am)
  • Put away dishes and wash today's dishes after dinner
  • Throw out garbage
  • Make "to do" list for Wednesday

Welcome Jalla

I'm sure you've done the right thing - this is only half-way through my second week and I am so encouraged already! Hope to see you about.

elvira's evening

Hmm ... still quite relaxed and spaced out after my acupuncture and I don't want to lose that yet by going out and heaving concrete slabs and buckets of rubble. Maybe I will later if it doesn't rain or get dark. It has got dark! But there's only another couple of layers to go and I haven't got a date from the builder yet, so a night off won't hurt.

But I definitely will:

  • photograph the remaining hats and make labels
  • fill another box
  • start going to bed at 10 with a view to lights out at 11  Going to be more like 11.30 because had really fruitful prayer time - but 11 was always an ideal, and i'm quite happy with 11.30. A great improvement on 4.00 am!
And in the morning I will be at work for 8.30

Loud workplace this morning

people are talking except in my cubicle

  • make the graphs put up an ending date
  • shouldn’t they already try to? nope. There's something with the break numbers. Try to calculate the difference between two dates. I can find the difference between two dates with difftime function. Now I just need to figure out where to put the breaks so the first and last date are always in the seq of dates. Say I wanted eleven break points along the x axis for every plot. Plots are hourly. The difference between the start and end is 3000 hours. Ten intervals of 300 hours each. The seq should have major breaks split exactly by 300. How do I convert an object of class difftime to a numeric? I can divide difftimes as if they were numeric. I can also use as.numeric or as.double to convert to numbers. Ok I've finished one script. Now to just copy and paste the solutions to the rest. fast solution 3 lines of code and 1 edit. It was always bugging me I didn't know when data went up to from a glance on plots. Wanna put script into function to make stuff more clean. There's a lot of understanding that needs to go into the logic behind the code and I brushed something off in the past as someone else's code that I didn't need to understand. I'm fixing that now. Plots aren't updating correctly. Done
  • What is this thingy that says "Use suppressPackageStartupMessages to eliminate package startup messages." Why does it halt execution?I can't reproduce the error any more
  • I figured out why the plots didn't generate correctly. If there is an error in the scripts in R and plots don't get updated, I think that the code continues to try to run and uses curl to upload the old R plots.unfortunately the output seems fine so I know the script runs to completion with no errors.
  • Make a note that the other side is unconnectable. Still trying to resolve baylife who cares. I'll never get access anyways.
  • Check emails
  • Oh right I wanted to talk to WF about something. more data or why our data doesn't match the causes for the data.
  • CPU Utilization stuff. added some comments on what it is and how to use it.
  • Splunk - Show Z how to get charts and set up jobs.
  • Want to do more with login history. Is this thing in one table the same as this thing in another table? No, discarded. Sorry.
