I'm not being very efficient. I went to bed late, got up late, and then spent a couple hours reading instead of getting dressed.
I'm bored and annoyed with setting up my computer since wiping it last week. I want it to be done. It is a lot faster and more stable, but BORING. I'm sick of it, and I'm procrastinating because I don't want to deal with it anymore.
Up to step 50 done.
Could improve it better, but will leave this as it means
going to the library. Might do that later on. But now
I just want something 'finished'.
The steps are effectively harder. 12 steps left, the next
5 one should be easier, though time consuming.

Oof, Monday again. I've decided to implement 3 new habits: for physical health - do my rehab and dance 20 min/day; for mental health - meditate every day; for 'apartment' health, do the dishes for at least 20 min every day. I know it's hard to implement 3 new things at once, but I think I can do it.

Not a bad suggestion, but I rent an apartment and there is nowhere to put even a portable one.
If my roomie and I could be consistent, it wouldn't be a big deal. But we're both busy and sometimes get lazy, and have very little countertop space. Things get messy really quickly.
1.Prayer and reflection (is not a waste of time)
2.Meet the other homegroup member of another 12 Step group at the bank for some business (and go to a meeting while in town. It's been nearly a week).
3.Focus on my main project for work till it's time to go.
4.Get out my list of partially done things from last week, and finish two this afternoon.
5.Continue working on #3 later in the day.
Good morning and good luck to everyone else.
Good luck with your project. It seems like a large one, and I know you have a deadline. In any event please take a minute or two to breath a couple breaths of fresh air and stretch your body and think of something else while you're doing it. I'm really in to watching your posts, like a game on TV: "44, Yeh!!..." Please don't burn yourself out, and in the meantime I'll send some happy, relaxing thoughts your way. Be well.
Only one step done: step43!!!
It was quite a long one. I guess when I started to
write my steps, I didn't have a clear idea of what
I'd have to do at the end, so I had a very general
list. Next time, I'll have to remember to start
early so that I can rewrite my steps.
At least one more step done.

bed and sleep
I'm sure I've left some things out but I'll come to them when/if I remember.
Have made excellent progress on project today. There is a lot to do and a lot of uncertanity. Many things would have been simpler if I had dealt with it when the matter was fresh some 4-5 years ago. Anyway too late now.
Having someone in my bedsit for 8 hours a day is stressful and I need to see if there is a way of rearaning things.
Just had argument with friend on phone. Not what I wanted.
Managed to go home safely and had a good but (too) short night sleep. Working overnight is definitively not a good idea. This week I am keeping a log book to see where my time is going.
So starting step 39: go to the filing cabinet and get some binders.
The ideal would be to finish this todo list today. I am not adding anything more for today. Seems that I have leared something: I have ONLY 8 hours to get the job done!

would a washing machine be useful
Hi Scarlet,
I am myself thinking of getting a washing machine.
Have you ever had one and given up on using one?
May be it could save you 20 minutes/day
Hmm...
Not a bad suggestion, but I rent an apartment and there is nowhere to put even a portable one.

Hi Lark,
Thanks for your very good advice: seems you know a lot about procrastination.
Thanks
I hope things are going well for you, too. Unfortunatly I know far too much about procrastination, and not enough of how to recover. Good thoughts!
