Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I'm finally ready for bed. I did have a pan to wash, but that's not the reason it took me so long. I was dawdling. I really want to start getting to bed earlier. At least it's not 3am (yet!).
I'm late getting to bed. I wanted to get to sleep by 11, it's past 11, and it takes me an hour to do my bedtime routine. Well, maybe it will take less today because I don't have any dirty dishes to wash. In any case, I'd better get started.
I'm tired now - gonna make something to eat, and try to get to bed early.

Inquire about writing white papers for a consulting company. (She said let's talk after Thanksgiving.)
Wrote newsletter.
Discovered a problem in testing the "send" function. Didn't fix it in code, but found a workaround.
In looking for the above problem, I discovered that the mailing list was still using MySQL 4 - not MySQL 5. I looked into why, found the problem, fixed the problem, and reconverted the database.
Mailed out the newsletter (finally).
Manually removed the bounced messages (my mailing list software is too dumb to do it automatically).

I'm done with breakfast, wake-up routine is done (I'm dressed, bed made, dishes washed, pills taken), and I need to figure out what I'm going to do. I so don't want to write a newsletter that yesterday I worked on my back accounting instead, and today I'm thinking of going to the GYM instead! How's that for a way to procrastinate?! But no, I'm going to sit down and write that newsletter now.
I finished my morning routine and I'm sitting down to breakfast. I got to bed past 1am and got up at 9:15am. Since I need 8 hours of sleep, if I want to start getting up earlier, I need to go to bed earlier.

Today I need to see how what I've been doing each day fits into the bigger picture. This is often where I cave in. You know, if I'm doing 10% each day of a five day project, it isn't going to cut it. I can use some advice, BUT for today:
1. morning routine
2. Finish and cross off the current section of my work's project
3. Use the leftover material and start the next section.
4. It's a pretty day, so do some clean up, etc. outside for half an hour, even if it's not all at once.
5. Go through the house and workshop for a few minutes' cleaning sweep.
6. Spend at least an hour on my next work project, to keep the ball rolling. (When it stops, uh oh.)
7. Get work supplies, making my list ahead of time.
That's a start. Seems like there was someting else, but...I'll check in later. Have a really good day everyone.
Alot of things got done today--not enough to be thoroughly crossed off, but pretty good. A couple were very quickly done. I think I need to work on a main list, but it scares the stuff ot of me. Nevertheless things are a little better now.
