Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HP has a sense of humor.  How COOL

Katia "11" paper due by "11:59" turns it in by

"The Eleventh Hour"

The eleventh hour is a colloquial expression meaning "a time which is nearly too late". From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Congratulations, I celebrate your success with you 33 minutes before "11" am my time!!

cheering ya on katia! you

cheering ya on katia! you can do it! :)

thanks overdue!

This has been an excercise in "good enough". My paper was only about 80% of the length it should have been- however it was in by midnight. I may lose lots of points, but it is done, and it is not as many points if I freaked out and didn't hand it in at all.

And your comment helped! I said "oh I can't fail now, then overdue's cheering will be for nothing!"

So I can't celebrate too hard as it wasn't my best job, but I explained that in the comments and can say it is done imperfectly.

(katia)

lol. i am proud of you! i am learning to do the same... do my best and hand it over. i will try to follow in your footsteps. :)

good enough

You can absolutely celebrate your success!    I think that's how many of us feel, we beat ourselves up over every little failure but we forget how to feel proud of every little success.  That leads to the downward spiral of procrastination.   So you must congratulate yourself for getting that paper turned in!

Show up (done)

Well, one step forward and 2 steps back, did not accomplish any school stuff with my son yesterday. I just did not "feel" like it and the the day wizzed by. I did try at 10pm but could not find book/papers. I am just the "coach" for his cyber school and feel like a loser. I must remember he is getting good grades and if he ends up needing an extension, it will only be for a few days and not 3 weeks like last year, progress not perfection.

Curious to the answer of the 3 hump camel joke. My joke: I heard that "trumph" has a slang meaning in England, so if Donald Trumph ran for president, it would be pretty funny.

Scribbler's Hump Day CI 7:97 a.m.

I had a very productive work day yesterday, checking off all of a long and daunting list of tasks. I just sat around in the evening and watched TV and read, for the most part. I regret that somewhat now, but it's hard to be perfect.  Another very busy day today. Onward...

Journey 6:30

Working from home today yay, all computer problems fixed.  I enjoyed being in the office yesterday though after a week away.   I'm checking in early because I'm waiting for it to get light enough to take a nice walk :)

Going now for a short walk with the doggies and a long walk by myself.   Then todo list, and get started.   I'll check back after walk and todo list.

Update 10:30 nice walk done, todo list done, 1 of 7 MITs completed.   A bit frustrated because there is not enough time in the day to get everything done.  I had to triage/prioritize my todo list.   MIT #2 now, a quick one.   I'm going to grab a cup of coffee first.

Update 11:00 MITs 2 and 3 completed.  The next four will take a little longer.   I think I'm going to take a shower now and call it a lunch break, as I'm sweaty from the walk.

Update 3:30 MITs 4 and 5 completed.   #5 was the worst, it's that horrid documentation project that was dumped on us with short notice.  I'm about 80% done with it.  I hope I can put it behind me before this week is over.  It's due by June 15.

I'll take a break, then I'm going to work on #6 for an hour, and #7 should be quick, then I'll spend the rest of the work day working on some lower priority items.

Update 6:30 All MITs done, and a couple of lower priority things done, and 1 item of financial/paperwork type stuff.   I have a list of about 15 things to do in that area - phone calls, bills, letters, appts to make, etc.,  I'm trying to do one a day until theya re all done.   I broke it down into things that take 5 minutes.   I can do 5 minutes a day even if it's the stuff I hate doing.   Right?

An excellent workday!   Now I just have to make a quick dinner and fold some laundry.
