Hopefulcat's progress diary

Starting from tonight, I am going to try and record my progress on a daily basis. I think this will help keep me more accountable for my actions, and bring awareness to which aspects I can improve on.

Any advice or words of encouragement would be greatly appreicated.

I didn't have a very productive morning--I mostly surfed the internet, watched television, read books, etc. However, during the late evening I actually started to go into a panic attack as I often do in the midst of procrastinating. However, this time, before I could avoid my depression by procrastinating further, I just took a deep breath and calmed down. I cleared my head, sat down and just started doing it. And I somehow managed to work for a full three hours. Phew! I managed to finish all the chapters of practise problems, but I still need to review my notes (think I will do that in the morning, seeing as I feel quite tired right now). However, I still need to prepare for my physics test--coming up in only 2 days, yikes! I'm planning to get up early and study for that in the morning.

Anyways, overall it has been an ok day. Not the most productive, but not terrible either. Hopefully I will continue to make progress.

HC.

Good luck Hopeful

I like to write things out too, it helps to post here daily or even hourly if you need.   I also keep a personal journal and it helps to write in there whenever I feel 'stuck'.   I just write down that I need to do so and so but I don't want to because . . .and just writing it out helps somehow.

Hope it's not too late to offer encouragement, only just noticed your new topic. Smile.

You have already shown you are able to turn things around for yourself - well done!

Hope your physics test went well. Keep coming back!
