This is the 86th day that I have followed through with the following:

  • 90 days away from dating sites and facebook
  • 90 days of not stalking people's profiles of people I've tried to date in the past
  • 90 days of not stalking people online that I've tried to date in
    the past. (I am now back on day 49 for this).
  • No Internet chat, aside from employment or twelve-step.  This
    includes not stalking people on AIM or other chat networks, whom I've
    tried to date in the past. (I'm on day 14
    of this.)

No Weds Night Phone Meeting Tonight

Hello all:

sorry for the last minute announcement, but the Weds Night Phone Meeting is no longer happening.

Should anyone wish to take on setting up another phone meeting, OR to take on the service of chairing and continuing this meeting, feel free to e-mail me. It's actually relatively simple to do.

I'd be more than happy to help set you up, give you useable (sp?) materials, etc.

Thank you for all of those who joined us over the last several months of this meeting, especially movingalong and firefly for their service chairing.

This a.m. I caught myself thinking, wow, things are better, I'm cleaning, showing up at work, etc....maybe "I've" licked this thing and I'll just now be normally productive ....this will be a life-time struggle. I really didn't know I lived my life with this magical thinking and believing that voice. So, grateful to be here with you all!!

I'm having a really hard time with demand resistance. These are the things that I WANT to get done today. Nobody is forcing me to do them, they are my choices.

Scribbler's Hump Day CI 8:16 a.m.

I met with the third business and life coach yesterday. I liked them all but I think this guy was the best. He's organized and followed up well. He also specifically mentioned accountability, which I'm interested in. And he made a detailed proposal of how we'd work together that was similar to what I had in mind. We'll see how it goes. In case anybody's wondering, I think these guys charge about $500 a month for their services, which mostly consist of weekly or so meetings to plan and follow up. I'm trading writing services so I don't have to pay. He said he was confident he could help me reach my income goal, which is my primary interest. If I do reach that, no doubt I will find something else to be upset about, but I suppose that's progress, at least. Meanwhile, I'm not doing all that well on stuff. I'll try to ramp it up today...
