Hi All,

Thanks mrdeez for the starter.
4change relate. Sending you inspiring prayers and big hugs!!
Welcome hope2Bfree, so glad you are here with us and sharing, please keep coming!!

Struggling today too. Stayed out of work due to snow, but I could have gone in. Need to turn over - there's this talent thing coming up and I just saw it advertised in a big way, and was hoping it wouldn't be. I was going to show up because it was just an audtion and talent show, and I usually have too hard a time showing up for rehearsals, etc., so this would have been ez, but now that there will be so many people, I don't even want to go and the idea of it being a talent show turns me off because I know I won't win. Part of me wants to do it to hook up with others, I'll see.

Very depressed and feel like I could sleep the whole day away and already did lots. I know the only thing I will do constructive today is:
-do my stretch workout tape

Sending you all love and hugs.

Auditions!

((hope4meandu)) My voice teacher recommended seeing every audition as a performance in and of itself. It helped me not be so hung up on the outcome. So now if I go and I do my thang, it's a success no matter what! :-)

Let us know how it goes.

((tabularasa)))

Thank you so much for that advice, it's isnpiring and wonderful and I will do just that. Thanks so much for sharing it with me!!!!!!

Hey! If I remember correctly, I saw ALOT of cross outs on your list yesterday :) So don't forget to be glad about that! Maybe whatever worked yesterday will work today.

As for the talent show, definitely try out! It always sounds so intimidating but no matter what it isn't as bad as it seems. I'm not a big fan of talent shows either, but I'm sure it would be fun to perform and the more experience you have auditioning, the better. This is coming from someone who is NOT an American Idol and has only gotten one part in anything non school related ever. But yeah. How do YOU know you won't win? ;) go for it!!!

Thanks ((((katia)))))

Yes, you are absolutely right, thank you!! Also, appreciate your support about the show, it might be uplifting, we'll see. Appreciate your taking the time to share with me. ((HUGS))

Super late start this morning (I'm sick so I slept in, and then I had to shovel the sidewalk/stairs so that took a while)

But, I'm here now!

I have plenty of work today:
*Make a plan for next s.b. steps (have started this)
*Test histogel, drop off samples (will do this soon)
*Drop off class form, update notes (mostly finished this)
*Email title for presentation, make 2 slides (have made some progress on this0
*Finish dealing w/ email (have made some progress on this)
*Finish IHC
*Go to friend's presentation

If I have more time:
*Plan of attack for data analysis + microburst this
*Order FISH probes
*P/C extraction
*redirect handler, c. parser, test articles

OK, starting with 15 min on email, then I'll work on IHC and sb

Crazybug CI

Goofed off a bit this morning. I need to reset my leechblock to help stop this.

There are a number of very high priority projects right now that need to be focused on.

I think I'll spend the first few hours of the day on the defined tasks to build a sense of accomplishment.

Will check in later.

Journey 9:15

Good morning!  Busy day today - yesterday was not the most productive day in the world.  I had three meetings just far enough apart that I never got the 'flow' going.   I got about half as much work done as I wanted to do, and every minute of it was a struggle to stay focused.   Today I have two meetings.  I hate having meetings when I really need to just do heads down work, but there you go.

Preparing for the first meeting now, then I'll do to do list.  I'm feeling stressed about being ready for this weekend and feeling stressed and productivity don't go together - funny I used to think they did.   I'm going to take a few minutes to just breathe, then get started in a more relaxed manner.
