Thanks for the starter lennon.
I had a number of tasks I wanted to complete today. I do let myself wake later on weekends, but staying in bed reading until 10.30 am was overdoing it.
So far I have:
* meditated
* made bread part 1
* cobweb and dusting
* started box sort
* had long phone conversation with a friend
Still need to do:
* bread part 2
* box sort part 2
* box placement (with M)
* car wash- no * watering x 2 - x1  * clean bathroom
* dishes after dinner
Would still like to go to cinema tonight if possible - no, had a card game with my son instead Smile.

I've had a nice relaxing day (caught up on sleep, did practice for MH, started fixing my bike)

I want to get some work done this evening (working on my presentation for lab mtg), then go home around 9 and get a little more done on my bike before I go to bed.

Update: 6. OK, here's an outline for my lab mtg pres:

*Intro
*Overview/justification for MK experiment
*Experimental design (inc. degress of sync. required)
*Types of data to be collected (consult w/ MK if possible)
*Maybe prelim sync data
*What is the A-A transition?
*Kitl stuff
*Kit stuff (maybe inc. sb)
*Rec8 stuff
*Cell cycle targets

tracy-la saturday

Hi Everyone,

Wrote article for 2 hours today and got that done.

Now for rest of day:

Work meeting at 2:30 pm.

Run/Exercise

Work on admin matters today as well. Will write down time spent on those matters.

Basics: checking in; affirmations; gratitudes; reading; exercise; plan to plan; prayer

Reading for today:

When people
make changes in their lives in a certain area, they may start by
changing the way they talk about that subject, how they act about it,
their attitude toward it, or an underlying decision concerning it.

  —Jean Illsley Clarke

Acting
"as if" is powerful
. It leads the way to a changed attitude, a changed
person. If we are self-conscious about our ability to get things done on time or early and yet act confident that we will get it done on time or early, we'll not
only behave in a new way, but feel good about it, too. Each act we take
in this way brings us closer to the person we are behaving like. Each
positive change we make builds our self-esteem.

Realizing that
through our own actions we are becoming the kind of men and women we admire
gives us the strength, in fact, encourages the excitement in us that's
needed to keep changing. Making positive changes in our lives is the
stuff that comprises self-esteem. Each gain makes the next one easier to
attempt.

I will accept an opportunity today to act "as if" I can handle a situation I used to run from.
