Journey 9:50 &

Two threads today . . . I picked this one since this is where most of you guys are.   Pro will probably combine them later.

I got up at 5:40 and was at the gym at 6:40 - I still need to work on this.   But today I'm not worried about it since I did work Saturday night, so I'm ok with strolling in late this morning lol.   I'm feeling kinda sluggish this morning, time for coffee and todo list. \

UPDATE 4 pm I ain't setting the world on fire today, but I'm trudging through my todo list.  It's most def a Monday.

Monday November 8 check in

Checking in on Monday here -  My basics are: (1) just showing up which is such a great reminder why I'm here, need to be here and remind me of Step 1 every day :)

(2) gratitude - done; (3) affirmations

Some affirmations:

(1) As I get ready to work on a particular project today, I let go of feeling I need or want to do anything else except starting and completing that project.

(2) I can complete anything I begin.

(3) I always finish what I start.

  (4) check calendar - Done (very useful checked all of Nov and Dec)

(5) Plan to Plan - Done [flexible plan of how to spend day with focus on what needs to be done NOW and VERY SOON.

Show up (done) Ask God to direct my thinking, especially asking that it be divorced from self-pity , dishonest or self-seeking motives.

All day soccer tounaments yesterday . The thrill of watching my son and his team win the Garcia Cup and his trophy was beyond words in how grateful I was to watch/experience it with him. So grateful I could "show up"

Thanks for being here. May we all find the wisdom , courage  and most of all the gracefor the willingness to "Keep On" today. It is not "automatic"
