Having once decided to achieve a certain task, achieve it at all costs of tedium and distaste. The gain in self-confidence of having accomplished a tiresome labor is immense.

I need help.  I'm just sitting here.  I really, really need help. I have a class that starts at 4pm, and I cannot seem to leave.   I've sunk into apathy, it ain't good.

I am freaking out, b/c of the car accident. I'm afraid to drive.

I went on a date with someone I did not want to date on Friday and I even asked myself if it were just a form of procrastination; I felt it was.

Thankyou myy for starting the thread.

Trying to deal with an extra task that a friend asked of me - got anxious that it will blow my schedule - really lol when I consider all the time I have wasted off my own bat without helping anyone else. Did this - it was good and even relevant to my own work - but didn't help with my billable hours.

So, decided to start work earlier today but not got going yet. But I will!

Still on my major report - just need to keep on writing. Finding it hard to do more than 3.5 billable hours per day - though better than I was doing! Tomorrow will try to do that - without staying up late or having no rest in the evening.

Ring M and B Left message

Look at stuff for B, maybe ring P if needed Not done

Appointments 10 am - accidentally missed but apologised and rebooked and 11 am done; lunch with friend at 1 pm - yes.

Need to schedule time to look at long-term priorities/planning - this isn't happenning.

Having a really hard time today. Long long, tragic story, but suffice it to say I am numb today and want to get out of my feelings for a while. Asking my Higher Power for help in getting through today.

Nice to "see" you, hope everything will be ok.

Hey there :) I know how it feels to be so hurt that you are numb. It's good you posted anyway, because everyone on here is so supportive. I'm not very good at this stuff, but I thought it'd help to know you aren't completely alone. xoxo

myy day 8

Last week was very good but today I find it difficult to get started. I started with pressing the snooze-button for an hour before getting up and I've wasted most of the day allready. I'll stop now and start on my tasks. I have to figure out a system for mornings when I don't have any scheduled appointment.

Done:
- took care of my home by doing chores
- finished October bookkeeping
- met my billable work quota

This day was difficult, but I managed to get everything on my list done. I really have to get rid of the snooze button. And start to eat the breakfast in the kitchen again.

Thanks - feels pretty relevant for me right now - nearly at the end of a big project which has gone on for too long.
